??? Damage underneath 1992 300zx

Ok folks.
Here we go. Need some help on what be have happen. Besides
The obvious.


Deer laying on roadway. I run over deer at about 55mph.
Automatic transmission is kicked out of drive to neutral instantly from impact.
Overdrive button stays on and only turns off if I hold it in.
Car has lost some power and idles high.
I don't dare drive it as I don't know what damage has been done.
Question is This.
Since Deer was laying flat most of impact was by lower engine and transmission area. Is there any linkages cables or wires down there I should look for.

Get some good pictures so we can tell you if anything looks out of place. Did you completely run the deer over or did it get lodged underneath?

Yes. I ran him completely over. Went clearly over top. Hit hard but what's damage is beyond me. I can get pics but bear with me.

Okay well remember to let the camera focus when you get the pictures.

CHECK THE OIL PAN NOW.
If you have a dent over the oil pickup, the damage is massive!!
Get it up in the air and spray it all down, and start pulling everything off to take a good look.

Upload them to a photo sharing site like photobucket and then copy the "IMG" link and post it here. Make sure the photo size isn't any bigger than 400x600. You'll probably have to edit the size but there's an option to do that on photobucket.

Did you get pictures of the deer as well? Hopefully it wasn't a reindeer.

Nasty.... The pictures aren't detailed enough. I can't see what is straight and what is not because I don't have a point of reference to go by.

I suggest you take the pictures from further away and make sure the lighting is decent and the camera focuses.

When you said you heard a noise was that only when you were driving or anytime the engine was running???
