So back on topic...

Who's getting work done or doing work themselves on their car right before the meet besides CoupeVQ35CVT and myself? :)

Although the majority of my stuff is done, just tiding up some things.

Yes. Installing the CAI counts, and both of us will be washing the car right on Saturday 99% likely, so it's all good. Gotta look good for the meet yo. ;)

I'm wondering if that's a job for a body shop or someone else.

I would also love to see that in action, I've always been curious about it.
Either get that or a license plate holder that screws in to the tow hook thing in the front bumper.

Maybe someone should go bump the thread on that Nissan Club site.

Maybe even post the updated event info on there like I have here.

I saw a winter frost sedan the other day with white rims and eyelids, hopefully that person is in the forum and is going to the meet.

I also have 3 brand new, deep scratches

uhg, don't remind me about damage. =(
I need to get a new trunk lid, some jerk hit me about a year ago in the parking lot at my apartment complex. I'm assuming it was the corner of a truck bed that was down.
I'll probably get a new bumper before that though. I should really commit to just getting the stillen bumper.

Yeah, I keep seeing peeps around, mostly 05-06 altimas that are modded out but it's hard to tell them to go to an event when driving in opposite directions. :\

You should have come! It was great, there was good bbq food, dorito chips, nice weather, lots of friendly bugs, a lake with people trying to ski, some ricer drive-bys, oh yah and many Altima coupes and a sedan. There was even some chump with an r/c truck that looked like it could beat of the cars off the line. It had an accident thanks to an excited veteran driver. Hmm... There was even an after party of sorts.

:gapteeth:

it was a lot of fun, im really enjoying my new intake that i bought yesterday, i just installed it a few hours ago and i had no idea how loud it was going to make the car. the food was great. the people were awesome, we just had a great time all around,

david i cant say thank you enough for putting this all on and cooking for us, your dad was great too. really nice of him to have such a great interest in the same stuff, i love the turbo david! but completely jealous lol!

there was only one sedan there, but his was really nice, very clean looking. again thanks for the intake!

i hope next time there will be and even larger group!

i did not do a head count, but there were 7 cars this time, last time there were 5, so thats an improvement.

all in all, it made for a great day.

Sorry I was unable to make it. I let insane know as soon as I was called. One of the few drawbacks to my job..when they call, I go in. It also ruined my chances of making IFO up in Tulsa today as well. What a weekend...great plans, thrown out the window. C'est la vie.

Yah a big thanks to David and his dad for hooking us all up with a great location and taking care of all the food there, and of course for organizing the meet.

I didnt know you got an intake Blain, did you just buy the one off David's coupe or what? It sure does let the rumble and growl come out of the engine, doesn't it? Hehe.

Hopefully everyone who missed the meet this time + more show up on the next. There were 7 cars and about 12 people with them.
