I hear you. I was originally going to put this Vh into my Nissan Frontier 4X4 and it would have been covered in goo in no time. I ended up selling the fronty to build the Z and pay off some debt.

I think perana is meaning brake booster as the clutch master cyl. is totally out of the way but the brake booster is huge and probably in the way.

In this pic you can make out the brake booster and if you look to the right of it you will see the clutch master reservoir just behind the gianormous fuel filter.

With regard to the red paint on the cam covers taking the heat, the cam and front covers on my VG30DET were painted in Mitsubishi 'Satellite Silver' over four years ago and still look like the day they were painted.

Make me an offer. I have it sitting in the back of the truck as we speak and am taking it to work to sit it on a pallet until I find a buyer. It needs a total rebuild but is complete from oil pan to fan to clutch to TB's. Not sure if you're engine skills are up to the task but we can help if you get stuck!

Me and a friend pulled the VG today and I should have the ECU and harness out in a couple more days. Lemme know.

Any other models that have the Avenier booster? I don't think we ever had that model in the states.
