Im not sure what shipping cost will be. But the bumper will be shipped from the maker to you guys.

If this comes out, I can just buy this one instead. That bumper is a nice mod. Do you have a picture of the m37 mash up? I was reading somewhere in the title that you did this on your Facebook page , can you post a picture of it? Thanks.
here is the y50/y51 mash up i did a year ago. there is a thread on this forum about my build and car mods.

Can they do a mock up like that without the fog lights in the original position? instead have the fog lights (led's) coming in where the chrome pieces are on the black mesh? I think that would be awesome and thanks for sharing that picture speedracervroom.

DAMN you! I wish I had someone with skills to do that on the east coast. I would of already had a one off bumper like your self. This Q50 one is gona look bad a** if you make it like your photoshop. I would cut right below the grill and make it to touch the ground if you airred out :bigthumb: that's one thing I hate about our M, not laying on the body at zero psi.

Update: still more cutting and fitting but looks promising.

I will need to extend the q50 bumper to fit all the way to the fenders.

I'm far from a performance expert, but since you are trying to do something new, special, unique, wouldnt it have been better to make the lower grill bigger like audi and lexus to suck in more air and increase performance? Especially since it seems like everybody here is trying to squeeze out the last bit of performance from these underperforming (in my opinion) cars. I assume that is what larger grills are for at least.

Aside from my thoughts of the a larger lower grill for performance purposes, i think there is WAY too much unused bland space in the middle of of the bumper. I think there should be some type of line, curvature, design or something if not opening up the lower grill...just my opinion.

Your skills are more than mine at any rate so kudos to you and good job.

He didn't make the bumper man. Just modded a Q50 to fit the M35/45. Jeez

Mad skills going on. Good job on both this one and the y51 mash up Mr. Speed.

TDot, just looking at where most factory intake scoops are placed, I'd say the grilles are not for sucking in air for combustion. They are more for cooling (which is pretty much still part of performance though) and for looks.

The point is to be able to use the OEM grill pieces and not have to have custom made ones. Also, air is not sucked in at all from that point so making the lower grill larger would have no affect on performance or cooling whatsoever. The only thing useful it would do is for people with aftermarket turbo kits (extremely rare) using that space as the mount point for their intercooler.

Guys this thread is 3 years old. The OP rarely posts anymore. Doubt you'll get an update.
