On my 2011 M56S the pipes that exit the stock secondary cat were 1 7/8" and ran together into a 2.5" Y. The exit at the manifold cat going into the secondary cat is 2.5". Mine is the same except where it bolts on to the sport mufflers. Since the sport mufflers were made as a bolt on factory replacement, my exhaust tapers to 2" flanges at that point...thinking about modifying the sport mufflers to 2-1/2".
