So here's another thread for M45 owners wanting long tube headers. I sent an email to this company http://www.ppeengineering.com/index.php requesting some headers and this was their response.

"We don't have a design for that application right now. We would need a car here to prototype on. Prototyping normally takes 2 weeks to complete depending on difficulty of the design. We should have availability for a new project in July or August.

Pricing would more than likely be comparable to our Lexus IS-F V8 headers which are $1400.00 for the pair including ceramic coating. It all depends on how difficult it is to make them/how much room there is to run the tubes."

Best Regards,
Paul

If anyone is near Tempe, AZ and would like to be the person to help fab this up let me know otherwise we might need to send them some stock manifolds and cats in order to get this done. From what I heard the initial guinea pig could get a discount. Also keep in mind this price is a rough estimate and maybe if it's too out of the price range we could ask about shorty headers.

^also keep in mind, im sure they would need a group buy-in like alot of companies ask for, unless these are custom 1 off pieces.

I remember i ordered an IS-F headers from PPE for my friend, very friendly people and very helpful.

The headers really made a difference in his car.

They don't need a group buy and will make one set! Worse case scenario I may try to send them some manifolds off of a salvaged M

They could easily do it as their was members a few years ago that massaged 5.6 Titan longtube headers into their M45. They do bolt up perfectly to the engine heads, however, they do not clear or fit the car, but they did do some slight modifications to make it work.
So, they could easily make a set of headers work on the M45.
Regardless, without a dyno tune and the recalibrated ECU, it's a pointless mod.
