i agree with everybody so far about the potential.also looks like it would have less drag then the stock pop ups.maybe throw in some tsx projectors or something

I think it will look good. Looks the same when closed, but when it's open you can run projectors without them looking like crap. I want to see after pics, you might have something going on here.

How do you intend to allow for aiming the lights and changing the bulbs?

I am thinking through a similar problem at the moment.

I almost bought All-Round headlights with two holes just like yours, but I didn't because I heard fitment was not that great. Anyway, how are you going to adjust the angle? Cut the arm and weld?

I was planning on custom making a similar setup with fx35 projectors. tell you what, if you finish em, ill definitely be willing to pay you for a set....

well they are stationary b/c i got tired of the pop ups so made these im using the j30 HID housings and im making brackets ill show you pictures of the finished product and how i am going to level them i have an idea but its hard to explain

Hmmm....well, how much did it cost you to make these? my only thing is they are stationary, but i might be able to put up with that. lets see....those crappy ebay headlight conversions, which include the lights, are about 80. raceonusa has a conversion that uses driving lights, but doesnt actually include them, which is 290. yours would just be the housings, no lights included right?

i have lights with them but im limited on the lights because the local junk yards are out of J30 lights.

looks nice!! Doesn't exotic from the 80'/ 90's have popup dual rounds like that? I can't put my finger on it, but they look sexy. Can't wait to see em finished. The fit & finish will be the deciding factor here. Lets see what you got!

I'd Like that even if they didn't go down, I'd still rock it. the lid would help big time for some sweet cutoff for projectors and such.
