We have decided to do a quick 'group buy' on some Crower V2 cams. We have 10 sets that we would like to sell for:

$375 Shipped!

We will be extending this price to the first 10 people to give us a call or order over the internet. Our phone number is 847 709 0530, you can talk to me (Chris), Eric, or Frank.

http://www.amsperformance.com/...=1007

These cams are a direct drop in and do not require a valve spring and retainer package. These cams also work off the same base circle so if you cams are shimmed correctly now, these should require no extra work. We do recommend that you check the clearances however! You can also specify to us that you would like the distributor drive cut off. The specifications can be found below:

Adv. duration: 264 I/E Actual duration: 218 @ .050" lift I/E Lift: .375 I/E Lobe separation: 114

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to give us a call and we will help you out as much as possible.

ThanksChris

Im very interested....would using these cams, w/ your fuel system, and using the AMS/Turbo240 turbo kit when it is released be a nice combination?

These cams would be and awesome part of that combination. These will completely change the mid to top end of the car and flatten out the torque curve instead of it taking a huge dive. They will loose a small amount of power down low and gain over 20hp up top. I will try to find the last thread about these cams and post some of the dyno charts.

As of right now there are no plans for a SOHC cam ... Once we get all the other things we have going on worked out, we may be able to focus on something like this with Crower or someone else.

I have a customer that is putting these in a N/A motor and he is supposed to get back to me with the results. Ivan and I think that there should be some gains, but when my motor FINALLLY comes back from the machine shop I will be testing them out as well and I will be sure to post up the results.

How much would you guys charge to install the V2's? I changed in some S13s into my old 240 and it took me several days before I figured it all out. I'm not going through that again... i'll just let someone else do it.

The v3's are coming back! No exact dates yet, but they are in progress.

V3 require you to run after market springs and retainers because of the lift. The v2 doesn't require any modification. Its just a straight bolt on. V3 is more of a race cam then the v2 street/race cams.

Any results with the V2 on an N/A motor? I do see the Crower website has some dyno results now for a turbo engine.

Hey Chris,

Any dyno charts from the V2 cams on an N/A motor? I'm really curious about these for my NA KA24DE. Thanks!

Anything needed to do 22psi on a stock head with these? Springs?? Plus I wanna see some of the crazy stuff you guys have built.hehe

Cool. Very interested to see how it turns out. It's good to have more options for cams on NA KA engines.

I have the V2's (building a ka-t). I did have to order new shims for each valve to setup them up correctly/acoording to crower's specs. You may not need new retainer's/etc, but still not a drop in item.

Any thoughts on this?

The V2's are a drop in affair. But you need to check clearances. They are suppose to be within factory spec. You always need to check regardless.
