What is the difference between the two sets performance wise? I have springs and retainers so I am wondering if I should get the stage 3.

There is a noticeable gain for v3's, they however, require you to clearance the head in order for them to fit. The cam profile his high enough that it will hit the cam bores if they are not taken care of.

We will try and get some dyno charts up asap.

the v3's DO make more power, it has been dyno proven.

I'm getting a tune from Scott and was wondering if these V2 cams will require a big tune change? I am going to get a SAFC anyway, so could I just adjust the tune with that. I am not sure if scott has sent out my tune or not. I just placed my order for the V2 cams about 10 min ago.

I sent an e-mail to Scott asking about these. Also, I can not say enough awesome things about his support.

ME SO HAPPY

i have learned from a few people that crower and detailed cam specs are rarely in the same paragraph. my friend matt bought basically a full valve train from them for his turbo rsx and they wouldn't give up anything other than operating range and something else, which i have forgoten at the moment. You could spec out the cams with a dial gauge and know exact numbers instead of advertised.

There is going to be a fairly big difference up top where the cams move more air... you should be able to tune for this with the SAFC...

It was like almost a year ago that these were first announced. I had the first set of V3's ordered and waited like 8 months before just cancelling my order with Ivan. Then I sold my 240......

Oh well, glad to see that some are available. Crower still dropped the ball big time with these and due to the still limited availability looks like they still are fumbling.

Congratz to AMS and Ivan for actually getting them, Rob240sx should be ordering his set of V3's right now.

Congratz on all the sales Chris/Ivan, mighty happy to send business your way.

Chris, Is that with the AMS GT32 turbo?

Also is that a s13 ka or s14 ka engine. Sorry just wanted to know. On a s14 ka with S13 240/248 cams wonder what the graph would look like?

so the v2's created more hp or did they just enable better flow throughout the upper rpms? if u wouldnt mind posting the hp differences for that dyno graph that would be great.

Damn! I'll be sure to keep my stock cams if I ever feel the need to mod a KA.
