I don't know about the TT or the 240 but the 300ZXn/a is definitely a 4.08.

I could have sworn it was a 3.96 (used to believe it was a 4.08 then heard otherwise btw).... Wonder why they used two different ratios (close but different) in the same engine / layout. By this Im talking the NA Z and J30. The J30 came auto only so you would figure nissan would have put the shorted gear in to compensate for the horrendously hungry auto trannies. Thats nissan for you.

Any way The 240 and NA Z is a 4.08 the J30 is a 3.96 for sure hehe and that rounds out the r200v's. The TT-Z uses a 3.67 (also read .69 Ill ask my friend in the morning) but is a larger r230v, which I dont believe will even mate up due to its diff. mounting points and physically larger size (not to mention half shafts and other stuff normally associated with the swaps).

Hooo. I don't wanna step outta line here but I don't think the 240 rear ratio is 4.08. Can somebody else clear this up?

If the 240 rear was 4.08, none of us Q guys would be shelling out mad bank looking for wrecked 300ZXna's...

Feel free to e-me off board if you'd bet your car's title on having the correct info. Appreciate it guys!

PD-32 1996 240SX FSM final drive 4.083

and PD-29 93 J30 FSM final drive 3.916 (forgot the one and quoted .96 in the other threads)

There ya have it. I have the fsm in my lap and the photocopy of a J30 pd secion next to it.

:) Should of bet ya... I always liked the Q's hehe

Like we said there are far more wrecked NA Z's then wrecked 240's with r200v's in them still, or wrecked 240's that even had a r200v for that matter.
