what are the crash test safety ratings for the S13, S14, and S15 ?

S13's have 5 frontal star ratings for the driver and 4 star passenger ratings.

While S14s have 3 star frontal star ratings for the driver and 4 for the passenger

Wow I must say I didn't expect them to be that good... then again the stock front end is a pretty large chunk of metal... there's a lot of crumple room between the bumper and dash! In most of the 240 crash pics I'v seen, they look like they collapse pretty darn easy, but that is the point I suppose...

No kidding. I'm surprised to see that the S13 did a little better than the S14.

Getting T-boned in my s13 coupe would be the end of me. I really need to find a good safety cage. Don't forget that most SUV bumpers are above the window sill of a lowered 240. Especially the rednecks with the cattle guards for bumbers. I was rear ended by a Dodge Ram a couple of years ago, lucky for me he was turning across my lane so it was just his tire that hit my back bumper. No real damage but I filed a report because he was a complete dumb *** and I felt I could use the 1800 his insurance claimed the repairs would cost. I spent about 30 minutes with some mild rubbing compound to clean of his tire marks and laughed my but to the bank.
