Is that nut/bolt a left hand or right hand thread? I'm assuming right hand as I see no L stamped on it. Been trying to loosen it with an electric impact, making no progress. Got P blaster on it as well now.

You will need a large breaker bar.
Do you have the flywheel seized up via removing the starter ?

That don't tell me if a left or right thread! ^^^^

However I found out it is a RIGHT hand thread (counter clockwise to LOOSEN). :chuckle: Got it broke loose and the BOLT is out. :chuckle:

Had to take starter out and do as FSM says.

Now if someone could tell me the Proper Metric Bolt size for the threaded holes in the PULLEY for a puller to PULL the pulley off with my PULLER. I would appreciate it.

Somebody should Chime in.
I used the pullers that grab the outside of the pulley.
They let you borrow them from Autozone if you don't have that kind.
The thread size should be listed in the FSM ? No ?

The 3 jaw might work, but the outer metal and the inner metal are separated due to failure of the rubber in between. Hence the failure of the pulley/harmonic balancer. The inner part has the 2 threaded holes for bolts, close to 5/16 I think in Dia.

I think I found the proper size bolts in another post here, for the puller.
