I have a hamonic balancer puller that I rented from autozone to remove the crank pulley but the supplied bolts are to large. The bolts that are in the pulley are 6mm. What tool do you use to remove the crank pulley on a G50? How does it attach? Where can I get one? Please help as I am in the process of replacing chain guides. Thanks

Matt

Does anybody have a photo or a diagram of the puller that Infiniti(Nissan) uses?

I just went thru this 4 or 5 times. I went to my local napa & got 3 6mm x 70mm(appx), 2 fender washers & all went as planed.

REmember to get that crank pulley bolt torqued to spec. That drives your oil pump. You will need a good chain wrench & a piece of hose or leather to protect the ribs.

Inspect your harmonic balancer for degradation. Send it to a re-bulder that does them 1 at a time. Mine is now smoother than the new(defective)one. cost $116. round trip. Will supply you w/name if needed.

GLUK!
