So on a FAR more realistic scale, this one isn't great but the miles and price and color make me wish I wasn't so frickin' broke:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5973286543.html

And this '96 is possibly the cleanest $6500 NA I've seen in awhile, if ever. 96K miles...:

For you guys who would want to know what to look for, here's a prime example of the Z32 you want to buy. Maybe a few extra miles (173K), but owned by a true Z car guy and maintained correctly:

Not Craigslist, but a 1996 TT for auction. Located in Alexandria, VA.

^^^Not TOO bad, but would want to have all of the listed problems already fixed before even considering this car...odd how people "have the part" but have not put it in, but say "all of the maintenance done/ up to date"...not a good sign IMO.

Here's a perfect example of what NOT to even consider when looking for a Z32: a total moron owner most likely from the look of the ad and such (if not some bizarre sort of scam), especially the price:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5987091838.html
Just don't know where to start with this mess...if your potential new car ad looks like this, RUN.

Why does it have a built engine if it only had 60k miles on it. Seems like a waste.

Lots and LOTS of Powah...and e85. :mike
Wanted e85 myself but both the lack of availability and reported REALLY bad fuel consumption compared to gas left e85 off the table.

Hmmmm, mechanic's special here...too bad it's in Washington as it looks like a prime car for Anton:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/5995192830.html

And another well-priced Z32, if with a tad extra miles (187K) but in very good shape:
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5981104854.html

And finally for fun, there's this thing...not sure I posted it or not but it's something else, take a look:

There's another one in Houston I'm considering, the CRP auto but its not running and 2k is a bit much in my opinion with the condition of the interior. I've been keeping an eye, just biding my time till the perfect one comes along. There are a few really nice ones for sale in Texas but the asking price on them is ridiculous so I'll wait.

Ace! Good to see you...and yeah, this one has some potential although there were also a few pretty good dents (pic 12) so the body would need a complete overhaul...and who knows about the maintenance when parts needed are "in the trunk" and not on the car... :gotme

So I saw this one, and ready to ridicule I instead saw this- possibly the nicest interior condition I've ever seen and one CLEAN 2+2:

Potential as in it's a slicktop, haha ;)

I'd be swapping everything anyways, so.....

A TT swap for $3500? Not a bad deal, even considering all the "track modifications" to it, lol. That'd be a great start to a project.
