It's acutally more complicated than that :P. I agree that MythBusters did a good job regarding that myth and everything they try turns out to be quite logical. I suggest everyone to catch that episode if they can. It's probably (certainly) available out there on the 'net.

Kimber: You break many windows with your hands? I kinda think the back reminds me of a Jetta, not a Camry, atleast in person and not that either is really that bad. But I do wish they would have kept the tail lights more like the HB too.

Woogie: you can get those covers in like 50 colors. I got them installed (for the umteenth time ) at a place called ATD in Denver. I don't have their number but if you really want it I can get it. I have seen other simular covers online but IMO they don't seem to be as good as these?

You might as well just make a macro for answering this... it's gonna happen a lot.

LOL!

Sorry to ask the obvious question. Denver is a bit far for me.

Any idea on the brand name of the kit, though?

I don't know but I'll try to find out for ya.

Ok I found some tags in the pockets on the backs of the front seats and they are cut off but the part that is still left has part of a logo its says (I Think):

DistIn

Solve the riddle

and the font they used makes me think that it might not be a T, it might be an L or something? I will try to find more tags or call those guys and try to find out.

Went to ATD today and my seat covers are Katzkin, you can go to their site and find someone in your area who has them. From what the guy there was saying he didn't think that anyone just sold the kits w/o install?

Yeah, Katzkin is really high end stuff.

I've seen it used both on Overhaulin and Pimp My Ride. Of course, the better application was on Overhaulin. Probably because the car didn't end up with 20 flat screens, 4 coffeemakers, and an automatic toilet hidden in the driver's seat.

Hey, I liked that episode. Oh, COVersa, how much did the leather interior run you? I'm really not a fan of cloth and with mine being beige, I'd like something a bit easier to manage.

I think they were about $1,000-1,100 which was all the seats and the door panels. I am sure you can get a better deal? I did beige and Ivory in mine, here are their colors. http://www.katzkin.com/05/FC/mainFS.html I found a place selling them online for $700 but after I added all of the little extra options to be the same as mine they were $934 free shipping not installed. So I think I didn't do too bad after all??

That sux! I am sure Next spring before they get the gravel off of the roads mine will be broken.

Thanks Vahagn23, I really like the color of my car more and more, it takes quite a bit for it to look dirty.

Wow... I mean... i guess that not bad... LOL. I know nothing about how the whole interior thing would even work.. So yeh. I'll keep your prices in mind, thanks for the heads up.

And CodeRed, how is the lemon laws thing going?

They're not really covers like I thought originally, they replace your fabric with the leather. If I had known that I would have probably asked for the original material to hang on to??

I can't believe it's been so long since I've been on here

I am so jealous. This car is beautiful. Was your moonroof aftermarket? And what year is your car? Cause I haven't seen any versa's with an armrest in the backseat

YOUR INTERIOR LOOKS AMAZING.

I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR YOUR EXTERIOR COLOR BUT ENDED UP WITH RED ALERT BECAUSE MINE WAS ONLY ONE AND THE LAST 2008 SOLD BY THE DEALER

Yep, that's a classy interior. I wish it were black leather, then i'd dig it more. Finally I've seen more Versa owners in Colorado. I don't feel so alone now.

Hey, where have you been to in the past year? I've been like the only guy from CO in here lately, pretty sad. We should meet up sometime when appropriate. What have you been up to?

Very tastefully done. I think the Tiida sedan has a spoiler, shouldn't be too hard to adapt it.

And for all those out there, I'm not 100% against modifying the V. It's just the people who think they can turn it into a firebreathing track machine or street racer.

You might call this another one of my annual bumps   :chuckle:

I still to date have seen only one Versa sedan with a spoiler and I'm not sure I care that much anymore  Still love my car, it has about 52k miles on it now and I still love the 6-speed and I still beat the crap out of it and I am still on the original brake pads. I did rip the back door handle off but the dealership replaced it no questions asked. No real problems to speak of.

Hope your all doing well in Versa land.
