I think he meant SR 60. As in the road...north georgia. 60 is probably one of the curviest mountain roads in GA, next to 180.

i never new that was what that road was called, i so wanna drive there. from the looks of it i dont think anything above 55mph is legit unless you drive there constantly.

60 is great fun . Have to hit Wolf Pen Gap too . It's an entire day's drive and if you're running hard it'll take a bunch out of you but heading up 60 and taking the Cherohala to do Deals is about enough to make your brain melt :ylsuper North GA is way better than Deals Gap though : FAR less traffic and far less enforcement . Unless you're on a bike in < brain block > the county Dahlonega's in .

Yeah, I was with my friend a couple years ago when he totalled his Celica in the only hairpin on 180. When we got a ride back to the wreck with the cop, my friend said "so what do you guys do about speeding up here?" to which the cop replied "well, we don't have radar up in these parts yet, so best we can do is tell you to slow down."

Dats actually in Canada right now, but I'm sure he misunderstood you (hitting 60-70 is possible, averaign 60-70 seems to defy laws of physics). is your ae86 red w/ a black hood (cf?)?

anyway it seems like a small world, I am looking forward to meeting you guys, take it easy for now man.

oh i forgot but me and dat went up to deal's gap on aug the 30th, you can see his car and maybe match it to his face ;]http://www.killboy.com

Home boy says they did 60 to 70 all the way through Deals gap! Ain't no way in hell. I don't think I know anyone that has held 60 all the way on a bike.

What kind of moron would try to act a fool on the Dragon like that, especially in a car.

just because you cant do it, dont bust people's chops and go talking behind their back saying they are lying. if you dont believe his word, you should find a better more tactful way to say it. saying things like that makes you look like an *** and makes him look like and ***.

Drille Seargent your carlooks nice, we should get together and maybe head to the track since that fell through last time - it'd always good to meet ppl that know what they're doing.

Chet I am liking these falkens you sold me, a huge difference over what I had before, and I know tehy're onlyjust decent grip tires... god I can't wiat til these wear down and I get even better tires.. ;]

yuda- no problem man :) the falkens should last you a bit, depending on how hard you drive them..

let me know when you want to upgrade, as mike found out, some weekends you cna get a killer deal on tires from me.

I'm a bit anxious to get my Pzeros worn down and swap to some Pzero corsa or advan a048R's and run deals gap ...

Doh! I should have caught that...

Yea, SR 60 is pretty fun, but honestly - I've been scared of other people everytime I've been up there. People with absolutely no experience driving at speed start to think it's a video game or something.

A bunch of BMW guys go on mountain drives up in N GA every few weeks and I stopped going because of all the yahoos. In fact, last trip up there some guy sent a '98 M3 that wasn't his off the side of a mountain... He walked away, but it just goes to show you how quickly things can get out of control when you're trying to "push it" on a public road.

Drill, I think the point is that to "average" 60 mph on Deal's gap is impossible. I seriously don't even think Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari could *average* that speed.

However, hitting 60 mph is a different story. I can hit 60 on that road in a couple spots.

I'm back....wow. Mike, sorry about calling you a fool and all. I guess I was being to harsh n stupid again. We've met and I have no problem with you so I apologize and we're cool?

I'm not scare of talking to someone in front of their face. So if I really did have a problem with you I would have told you already when we met.

The reason I've posted this thread is to see if that task is possible. That's it...not trashing anyone and if I did so sorry again. I knew it's not possible but I'm not God so I was curious.

As far as me postin saying that you said you average 60...that what I heard. Probably misunderstanding but Adam and I hate liars. I hope all that craps clear everything up. BTW: Mike, we should get together with some people and hit some mountain roads. I hope by then my rear suspension is fix. ^_^. AIM: dsaiyanz
