Looks nice haha, but the hood sits what like a half inch above it??? Alot of 240 owners with fmic's have no plate ON THE BOTTOM between the radiator and the fmic, thats the killer.Valley wrote:that panel looks good.. where'd you find it?

nice, running cool is a beautiful thing, i just bought 250 in few fans since my a/c is gonna be working when i put them in, that lower panel is the key, i think im gonna go for 4 bottles of watter wetter this timeblk90s13 wrote:so i got some dist water today and 2 bottles of water wetter the temp dropped 12 degrees on the FC
also made a lower panel between the FMIC and the rad + two 4 inch holes on each side of the bumper with dryer vent hoses ( from local home depot ) and directed the air to the rad
car runs 90 at idle and 82/84 under load
sounds like a plan you can paypal me about 300 bucks for 45 bottles.blk90s13 wrote:i dont i want it to run any cooler than that it seems up set till it gets up there in the temps
80-90 range is fine by me
you should just run straight water wetter

Whats up Kamin, its 4got10s13 from az240. I used to have cooling probs with my stock Sr radiator trying to cool my rb, so then I tryed the Civic 1/2 rad (Dual Core Alum Pwr Modded to fit SR) that ran my other car awesome.Turns out this 1/2 radiator worked better than the full silvia radiator, but after a few pulls the engine would still heat up. If i turned on the heater, then temps would go down quickly. In need of a fix and not wanting to spend much money (or time!) I snatched another alum 1/2 radiator off a friend and fabbed a cross over pipe to make something similar to a dual pass. Now the car runs Great! Check it out...Kamin wrote:Anyone have cooling problems with their RB's?
anyone have some ideas about cooling better? i personally done buy into the whole koyo hype but maybe someone can sway me.
