Looks nice haha, but the hood sits what like a half inch above it??? Alot of 240 owners with fmic's have no plate ON THE BOTTOM between the radiator and the fmic, thats the killer.

so i got some dist water today and 2 bottles of water wetter the temp dropped 12 degrees on the FC

also made a lower panel between the FMIC and the rad + two 4 inch holes on each side of the bumper with dryer vent hoses ( from local home depot ) and directed the air to the rad

car runs 90 at idle and 82/84 under load

No way you have a RB26dett in your 'vert.

err... wait... Yes he really does!

I know you from the 'vert forum and I've seen pics of it! I can vouch if anyone feels like the don't want to take his word for it.

anyone have some ideas about cooling better? i personally done buy into the whole koyo hype but maybe someone can sway me.
Whats up Kamin, its 4got10s13 from az240. I used to have cooling probs with my stock Sr radiator trying to cool my rb, so then I tryed the Civic 1/2 rad (Dual Core Alum Pwr Modded to fit SR) that ran my other car awesome.Turns out this 1/2 radiator worked better than the full silvia radiator, but after a few pulls the engine would still heat up. If i turned on the heater, then temps would go down quickly. In need of a fix and not wanting to spend much money (or time!) I snatched another alum 1/2 radiator off a friend and fabbed a cross over pipe to make something similar to a dual pass. Now the car runs Great! Check it out...

Maybe a boring post but I just wanted to tell you,

The Volvo 940 radiator is great for our cars, twice as thick as stock and fit perfect, both S13 and S14.You also use the 940 or 850 coolant reservoir for filling and level, no stupid hot metal cap anymore and the coolant system will accept more water!

Tried this set up on track, drag and street, works better than most bling-bling radiator upgrades.

Over here the OEM radiator cost around 110 USD and the can around 50 USD.

I have a question... Would grabbing a Flex-a-lite 220 and using it as a pusher cause problems? Because the FAL 220 is a shrouded unit, wouldn't the shroud restrict the air flow when the fans are off?
