I drive a bone stock S14 with a KA24DE. How much coolant, water, and water wetter do I need? Would it also be a good idea to change the thermostat?

For the climate we live in, you should run roughly 70% water, 25% AF, and a bottle of water wetter. It's always best to flush first then fill with distilled water.

T-stat replacement (and cap) should be mandatory (cheap insurance).

took my car to the shop today... i have a 'pinhole' leak in my intake manifold... its in one of the 'elbow' joints as the mechanic referred to... so the choice he gave to me was to replace the entire intake manifold... along with the hoses because the hoses are already hard and worn out... the other choice was to take out the intake pipe, remove the power steering to get the the lead... use some epoxy stuff and a pipe clamp to hold it together... so nismo1182... i dont think i'll be needing your part thanks anyway though... but if you have a spare intake manifold with the pipes thats rust free... ill take that... haha

im thinking... that i just might buy a performance intake manifold maybe... maybe... i wait for things to break down... then i get upgrades... soon ill get some drill/zlotted rotors... oh yeah =)

i bought one of those prestone flush kits. i think it worked well, but i need to get some cleaner to get out the oil. the kit will flush the whole engine and coolant system, not just the radiator.
