Yea, I was on the phone with Rhys and he didn't think it was a good idea. His dad agree'd when I called him later. So far only me, main, Jaun Pablo (montoya), Mike (schumacker), and I think Jeff said he might stop by just to see what it's all about (gorden).

Hopefully I can call some other ppl to get them to show up. Every one of the playboy playmates I have stored in my cellphone backed out... that just leaves old Jenna Jameson and maybe a couple of her freinds.

But I can call them all back and call it off if you guys really want me to.

You can only say so much about them, afterall, there was no containment structure. (but who knows, that may not of helped after all and you may also contribute it to underfunding)

Lack of a containment structure was obviously a weakness. However, if the system had been allowed to operate as designed, a containment building wouldn't have been necessary. What engineers ever thought that their own operators would try so hard to defeat their safety systems. Talk about Murphy's law! WOW!

An interesting read indeed. Even reading it, it's still hard to believe it's real. I can't even imagine actually taking a trip through there.. it would be surreal.

i found the part about the silence creepy. i mean, when we all get silence, there is that comforting back ground noise, there, all you get is wind, if even that, no one withing 50 miles to make sounds, creepy stuff. i think id be interesting to go there though, take a quick ride through, and i mean QUICK, kinda get paranoid

It would just suck to have to WALK out of there if something happens to your transportation.

Ghost towns rock. Only been to one out in the middle of the Arizona desert. A couple miles outside of Benson on some old back roads. There are some trails that run through the hills and a small underground river that surfaces here and there. Bad *** walk man. VERY quiet. I like that kind of silence. Very creepy but very peaceful.
