Convertible?

my 6mt clutch would be pared to a transfer unit that would send torque to the rear and to the front. the front part wouldn't change on my car since its the same as the murano, the rear part would be mated to drive shaft of the murano and then to the rear final drive . the ecu wouldn't need to be changed since the transfer unit at the front with the awd box would read the readouts from the ecu and decide accordingly how to opperate. here is a diagram from the murano:

Well one, he has the most experience out of most of us. I would like to see what more experienced folks have to say.

yeah I think you still need an AWD transmission, to send power to the rear axle. From everything I have read on FWD to AWD conversions, you need an AWD transmission. I think you are better off trying this with a Mazda6 AWD than a murano but I don't think you could use the VQ.
