I'm dating a girl who lives in VA Beach, now, so you'll probably see me heading that way more often soon. And i'm glad you decided to become a convert :)

Welcome! 94s are a bit on the rarer side. Get some pics up man, cause we'd love to see it.

I can now also say that I am a vert owner!

I can't seem to get the pictures to post, do you have any idea how many made? the ASC sticker on my door is 4896.

Hey ya'll! It's great to see a happy group of 'vert owners! I've been posting to zilvia.net, and found few others!

FYI, I am in Charlotte, NC. Just bought my ride in CT two weeks ago. '93 146k burgundy (ie. red). Needed an engine rebuild and had its rear bumper damaged. I was thinking SR20DET, but decided against it and am having the KA24DE engine rebuilt (will I regret this tenkawa?).

She looks great from the front...

but a little cramped in the rear...

If you're getting the engine rebuilt with new pistons and rings and so on, go ahead and drop the little extra cash on some aftermarket, forged pistons on buy a Turbo Kit for the KA. With a freshly rebuilt KA (plus nice pistons), you'll have all sorts of possibility with turbo-ing it, just like an SR, but with torque. :D Oh, and an auto-to-manual swap is always a sound investment in fun. ;)

I've thought about the whole SR vs KA-T debate, but in the end I believe that people don't buy convertibles to go fast.... they buy them so they can drive slow so everyone else can see them! :)

So I am going stock on the convertible for better resale value. I will most likely put an SR into '91 coupe I have. That will be the fun car!
