apparently my pads have no wear marker because they are grinding on medal now. I was wondering if i need to buy ABS pads because i have heard that the brakes are the same size as those with ABS

The perfect opportunity to plug the FAQ's sticky thread..

You would have found the following thread linked from there. zerothread?id=136324

In short..

Front = ABSRear = no ABS

The rear calipers need to be twisted back open.. so make sure you have a good needle-nose pliers or the proper tool for it..

Let us know if you need help.

If it's the rear, one thing I've found that helps twist the pistons in is clamping the open pliers in a vise and then setting the caliper on them and twisting. Saves your wrists and prevents accidentally puncturing the seal.
