haha, no, I told him to check out the Version Select: Version 3. Which is basically a plow kit. he didn't like it, and he apparently hates coupes? I thought everyone knew coupes were better than hatches. I mean, even the convertible 240s are more rigid than the hatches.

Not sure how one obvious bandwagoneer can say that to another, especially after suggesting one of those 360* snowplow body kits that all the cool driftar kidz have.

F*ck "aero," make your car go fast.

Edit: Though, coupes do indeed rock.
How exactly am I on some kind of bandwagon? It was obviously a joke from my first post ITT. The internet is way to serious these days.

i hate coupes.. Flame me all you want. they look like crap. and i have never ever seen a good looking one. you just cant go right with that s***ty a** rear end. What was nissan seriously thinking? like "hmmm lets make one model of the 240 that looks like a pos honda accord and then sell it!...we could make that model a convertible too" "yea yea great idea, lets do it" fastbacks are always sexy. unless they are pig noses. the tail lights are what kills the coupe. the coupe looks like an old honda accord with a 240 front...

MY PROOF...so basically whoever told me to get a honda... has a honda...because i believe they have a coupe

seriously i cant really tell a difference...dont lie. a coupe is a honda accord!

so am i hearing that the hatch looks better than the coupe? if so are you willing to go as far as to say the 180sx looks better than a Silvia?

IMO the Silvia is the best looking of the S13's so thats why im ditching the ugly chuki front on my coupe for a Silvia front.

ohh yeah and comparing the rear end of a coupe/silvia to the rear end of a honda/acura car that came out after the coupe/silvia makes you look like a moron that doesnt know s*** about cars. damn fanboys.

ha. sorry man. dont mean to bust anyones balls..i thought i would be taking it too far to bash on the Silvia conversions. I HATE THEM why does everyone do it???? s15 conversions are pretty sweet i must say, but they are rare i know. I <3 my flip up headlights. the freaking Silvia conversion is as stupid as putting an sr in your 240. rebuild the ka and turbo it or get a freaking rb. dont drop displacement just so you can say hey my car is turboed. i dont understand people. to do a sr swap you need about 2k, if you dropped 2k into your ka youd easily produce 300hp+ reliably.

flame me all your want. i am picky. a s13 240sx with a bulletproof ka-t and with 180sx type x aeros is my affordable dream car.

well lets see the first SR swap was done in the 90's when the KA had basically no after market support and was a proven power maker so with its history and numbers is why people go with it. the 240sx when released in america never got to see its real glory which was the Silvia, my goal with my car is to build a Silvia clone because like i stated before i think the Silvia is the best looking S13. knowing about one platform makes you a fanboy and any older guy will tell you that older hondas were the s*** back in the day. Early to mid 90's was when the honda tuning scene took off and to disrespect the cars that are considered to have started the whole import scene is down right ignorant on your part. To be a car guy or import guy then you need to have knowledge on all things import or car related. you therefore are lacking by comparing the looks of the newer honda cars to that of the older nissan car. know your history before running off at the mouth, your still wet behind the ears son. go do some research and come back with a better attitude and respect for the car you love so much, so then maybe you wont be one of these kids that goes out a trashes a car that has more potential than the owner does.

I have both of those cars sitting in my driveway and I can assure you, they look nothing alike.

Lol it looks like you're putting teardrops on your accord from a 240 but hondas aren't 4x114.3 are they how did that work? Or can i just not see good?

I have a hatch and a coupe and i DO like my hatch better, but i enjoy both my cars. I might just like the hatch more cause its a chuki anyways, my coupe is an 89. FourLug's car is a good example of a coupe done right. They don't all look as bad as my nasty pigb****. )=

I have a coupe and it shall be sicker than sick. If someone confuses it with an accord, that just means it will only surprise them more when I light up the 315s in the back on a highway roll.

Your confusion of the Silvia / 180sx /240sx time line is down right upsetting. To say converting your 240 into a silvia or swapping a SR into it is stupid is well...stupid. Seeing as how the "240sx" originated in japan under the 180sx / Silvia titles equipped with CA18DET's and SR20DET's. I would say that people converting them to their original states is not stupid by far. You will see alot of "Purists" doing this. Simply because its what belongs there in the first place. If this country didnt have such s***ty rules and regulations about every un-important thing imaginable, we would have those cars here today in their raw form. s***, we would even have Skylines. Not tryin to rag on you, just sayin to research and think before you make an a** out of yourself. All it takes is one time on this forum lol. Specially in the 240 section

Civic and Integra are 4x100. Accord, Prelude and JDM '96-Spec Integra Type R's are 4x114.3.

I know that the silvias and 180s came with those engines. I am just saying if you have a 240 that it would be stupid to swap in a sr or ca just to be a "purist". Thats basically the only reason why you would want to do that...besides stupidity. The ka is a torque monster... why not throw the money in the engine and turbo that s***. Utilize Americas stupid government and turbo your ka!! SAY NO TO SR!!!

The half the reason people will swap in the the SR20DET over the KA is quite simply for the high revs. The KA has a creat torque curve low end, unfortunately it's greatness peters out rather quickly once you start trying to max out the revs. But really it all depends on what your doing. If you want to haul your family camper around the KA is great. if you like drifting like I do, The SR with it' high revs is the choice. People arnt doing it because it's a trend, there doing it because ease of implanting it, proven power with a retarded list of mods, and if your smart, you can find it for cheap. So SR20 ftw I say.
