Time out - Chief Justice Roberts messed up the oath. These were the most important words of the day.
The chief justice was supposed to recite the oath as written in the constitution. Obama was to repeat Roberts's words. Roberts messed up the words - this is why Obama paused and waited for Roberts to correct himself. Obama knew the correct words of the oath so he stopped - immediately when Roberts messed up the order. The mistep jeopardized the validity of the oath. That is why it was done over.
They both messed it up, probably why I said this.

Jesus, you need to get off the man's nuts. If you can't stand somebody pointing out an innocent mistake the man made how are you going to deal with it when and if he spins the country into a deeper recession?

Let me get this straight. The fact that millions of people came from all walks of life from all over the world to rally by the new President - this is disturbing to you. Sounds like patriotism to me.
Now imagine if there were not such a huge turnout - then oppenents would be touting that as proof to de-legitimize Obama's victory.
Obama is not the messiah - he is just the President of the UNITED States of America.
Also consider this - he has made significant positive actions since winning the election - even still - he will be judged and scrutinized like no President before. To somehow think he will not be held accountable - does not make sense.
Since you dont understand how the supporters you mention feel - why not leave it at that - you dont know what these people were feeling or why. Obviously this election mattered to these people who travelled to be there.
Maybe there can be a rally for the people that dont care?
I didn't say that guy. Here is what I said, again I repeat myself that you might hear it THIS TIME.

He is just another politician but when I see the confused masses gesturing like they are worshipping at church it is apparent that some who support him think he is some superbeing. That is pathetic and very scary. He is simply a politician, a man, and he may prove to be a good one, but he is not the second coming of christ.
There were people in the crowd very happy about this turn of events and I get that. The ones raising their hands to the sky and towards the man with tear-streamed eyes shut as if recieving the blessing from on high were disturbing for the reasons I identified.
Obama has not been held accountable for anything thus far, why should those of us who don't sip the koolaid served at this cult of personality expect anything to change. None of the fundamental questions I had about him were ever answered, nay, even entertained by the mass media and those who think he walks on water.
This election mattered to a lot of people, including me. That is why I rushed to vote against this man. I gather from your rush to attack me that you are one of the people that I pointed out, that thinks he is "the one". I never said I don't understand how the cult of obama feels, I said it is scary. If you think because Myself and those who think as I do, namely for myself, not as I am told to by Bruce Springsteen, are going to stop scrutinizing Barry because he duped enough people to get in the office you are stunningly mistaken.
I will watch him with great interest and if he steps on his crank I will call him on it. If he turns out to be a gamble, which is what he is, he has no record; that pays off, I will be in the crowd that gives his due credit. I don't want him to screw up, if he does we all suffer. I hope he will shed some of his hard left ideas and move towards the center.
