Yup... This was a tough one. There were a lot of cars I would have liked to have made ROTM... Rob's being one of them. Rob is the ONLY one that stayed in contact with me, and sent me the pictures that I wanted, and didn't flake out for weeks at a time.

BTW: Here is the link for all NICO ROTM winners. http://www.nicoclub.com/ROTM/rotm-main.shtml

The problem we have with ROTM is getting people to send us hi-res images of their cars and sending us the writeups (which should be far more detailed than what we receive, IMO). I honestly don't understand why people post up their car and either don't respond to our emails or seem all gung-ho about it but does not send us the images nor information. If you look at the ROTM page and see holes it's primarily due to members saying they will do it and then simply don't follow through. This issue also impacts the cars we run as sometimes you have to go with what ya got.

I will like to put up another Altima in a couple months (a sedan this time if possible). We will see what happens. Based on the quality of cars within the Altima community I have no issue presenting 2 or more in a year.

FWIW, I'd love ROTM's to be much more detailed and similar to:http://www.nicoclub.com/articl...shtml

Wow, at first reading through all of this, I thought this thread popped up like a week or so ago and I didn't notice it somehow. Then I look back and it started yesterday

Thank you Phenom for the initiative of this thread. Friends on Facebook should have known about this quite some time ago and the few members I see on the weekend have known for even longer.

I understand my coupe isn't the most attractive, creative, expensive, blah blah blah. And I was surprised as much as some of you when I got the email. I would have made the bio thing longer but I am not good at writing. I ramble and don't separate paragraphs well. I get sidetracked really really easily and many other problems.

I thank the mods very much, Especially PapaSmurf.

BTW, the picture of my interior was asked for. I didn't just randomly submit it, it is mainly for a comparison from night and day.

As for people telling me to buy this and that to make it better... I KNOW. I have "all" my future present and past mods listed down with prices, priority, and value. I know what I want, I have certain goals, and know how much I want to spend. I'm in no hurry, I plan on having this car for a long time and don't feel a need to rush it.

Thanks everyone

I like your car a lot too, but you should try another photoshoot in a different location.

That pic doesn't really do it for me...I dunno... too much bare dirt maybe?

Same with that... you might even try shooting in the same spot but at a different time during the day... maybe early morning or late afternoon (sunrise/sunset).

my fascia is different then all the other Altima coupes.... theres not another altima coupe with my front end in the WORLD that i know of lol and i was the first altima coupe to go quad exhaust.... mehdi is the first altima coupe with a LSD. sureman has the same fascia and hood as rob but with stillen side skirts, ED rear bumper, rims, projector head lights, not to mention the best interior of any altima coupe....

dangerous is sponsored, loop is sponsored, surman is NOT. like all have said, not trying to attack rob (i think hes a great guy) but i just think there are other coupes that look better... surman has more mods then everyone else and if its not only about mods, he has the most unique coupe. surman did a lot of work to his car himself.

Hahaha just kidding. You guys don't have to keep covering yourselves, I know you guys aren't trying to attack me in anyway, just trying to voice your opinion. I don't get all worked up and everything if somebody is criticizing me or my car.

But keep in mind, not many of the members you listed submitted images on that thread of them looking for a ROTM. and

You guys are pretty relentless... what do you want me to do, fly out to everyone's place of residence, go over their cars, take pictures myself, interview them and write my own article?

Sorry, but that's not going to happen on my NICO salary. (at a whopping $0/year)

Hey - u definitely deserve the Dotm Driveway of the month The ROTM pics should have somehow include a driveway shot.

Otherwise - congrats on ROTM.

I think of ROTM just like submitting pics for the calendar. There was a mix of highly modded cars and mild to near stock cars. In addition to the actual car and any mods - I think the "shots/backgrounds" make a difference as well.

Leading Lines, Framing, Diagonals, and a slight off center... I guess I really did learn something in HS Photography.

Stocks are going away once I have enough money for some real rims. And to have those real rims powder coated. And before the rims I want coilovers so. They will be with me for quite some time but I am definitely planning on switching them out asap.

I just bought some rim paint from a local auto parts store
