The S2K is a blast. I used to love driving them when I worked at Honda, It was easy to drive and was probably the best handling car I've ever driven, very appealing, had good enough power for what my intentions would be, and the interior fit me like a glove. One day I'll finally buy a Suzuka Blue one.

I haven't driving one since buying a 240 to give a good side to side rating, but I'm pretty sure I would have to choose the s2000 over a 240 if i had to.

I've driving quite a few v8 cars too, but they only have that lovely v8 sound over the 240, which can be changed.

The funnest car I've driven besides my S13 has to be a Porsche 944.

+1 for steering radius...

and other than lowering it, you dont have to do that much to it!

I've been driving 240's for about a decade, and for some reason I can't get away from them. They always handle well, and never disappoint me. Now that I got some real power in mine It gets up and goes as well as handles. I have driven many fast cars mustangs, camaros, 300zxtt and each one way or another didn't do it for me. I have also been a passenger in a wrx, and a 3000gt Vr4 and I was still not impressed..The 240 is just a great all around performer, I just wish Nissan built some better quality in to them.

ever since i had NICOtots, i got me a minivan...

& was pondering on selling my 240sx...

eventhough, it's 20 years old on original suspension, somehow it's still fun to drive w/ a stick shift, RWD car...

sure, it's underpowered w/ the SOHC KA24E...but, i can't believe it still takes corners at high speed on original suspension except for donor-TC rods from a '91...

my 30 mile work commute down 295 is always a blast w/ the car

I used to have an automatic accord which was alright for power and steering. My dad got a 2006 325i and before i got my 240 i used to beg him to let me drive it. Now that i have a 240, i dont really have interest in driving it cuz the 240 is so much better. All the electronic controls can take you away from the driving. Also the 240 is waaayyyyy more responsive.

my gfs s2000 (105k) is amazing, it kinda feels like my 240 but it feels noticeably smaller which is nice, and only a little bit faster though. it has coilovers though and my 240 only has gr2s and h&r springs not really fair lol. i love it so much i leave her with the 240 must days

compared to my roommates 03 wrx (60k miles) the 240 is was funner and seems to both handle better in tight stuff as well as most bigger turns with far less body roll all the way around. and shift better everywhere the wrx is noticeably faster though.

audi coupe quattro (160K miles), is garbage compared to the 240. sloppy, bodyroll, slow, when you shift it feels as if youre moving a spoon through mashed potatos, the 240 destroys it.

This is what I've always assumed about S2000's. That in stock form, they feel like what an s-chassis would feel like if it came out in 1999, which is to say similar and not a total revelation. As you start upgrading both cars, it seems that they still have about equal levels of performance potential. I could be wrong though...

Gotta say, my 240's were more fun than my Z in twisties, but straight line I would always take the TT...not to mention t-tops were nice...lol

Driven:

S13- My project car, it's great, vibrates like hell, rough ride, but I love to drive it.

Evo- My DD, drives a little rough, is very quick on stock turbo (330whp), handles great. I also love to drive this, the powerband is very smooth and broad, everyone I know that has driven my car- wants one, despite whatever car they are true to.

350Z- Interior was so f*cking awesome! I love it! Feels so nice inside. I'd love one as a DD, power felt ok, didn't get to experience handling, but DD would be awesome.

Type-R 425whp Civic Hatch- fast as hell but not stable at all! I felt like the car was gonna fly off the road, but oh so fast lol.

02 Mustang GT- feels ok, def underpowered. Nice to crusie or DD.

ive owned and driven so many cars its rediculous, BUT i have to say the FUNNEST that i drove was a track day prepped '86 four eyed mustang. this was one of my pops cars and had every bolt on on it. AS$ loads of torque PLUS sticky icky advan A032R = nasty. this is the only car i can say that scared the shlt outta me. this car was prepped for road course (no straight line on this baby). for DD i have to say my bmw e39 540i hands down. best DD ive ever driven. the 240 is up there, but not the first. it does beat a c5 FRC hands down any day of the week (if its a boosted 240 with some cojones that is). i miss that stang....

The funnest car i've ever driven was a 550 Whp Evo 9. Compared to my 240 and the 240's that I've driven, the evo still wins. I've also driven miatas various hondas and rx7's, but i still prefer 240's to be second on the list on the fun factor. Overall though, the evo wins in my humble opinion.

I used to work at the largest auto auction in the country as a driver :P. Needless to say I've driven tons of s***.

The ones that stack up to my modded 240sx are:

Honda s2000 -extremely fun stock, great handling, clutch and shifter feel.

Acura NSX - handling spot on. too bad i couldn't open her up.

rx8's -are really fun to throw around but i prefer...

the Miata. -Any gen, super fun but I'm too tall for it LOL

those 2 door AMG benzes. sick rides but too much lux for me.

Porche carerra - can't go wrong w/ one of these, N/A or not, still all handle amazingly with comfort to boot.

Lexus is300 - I used to drive a few of these a week, it was definitely from a drivers standpoint my favorite car to drive at the time. 6spd versions =icing on the cake

z32's are kind of bulky for my tastes, didn't drive the TT version.350Z's are nice, oem exhaust note is the best in the business.

06 subie legacy, must have been lowered and had an exhaust but i liked it.evo 8's are fun, but i don't like 4 doors lol.automatic TT mk3 supra, didn't really drive it far enough to tell but it was a jewel.

C6 non z06 vette, good old american fun. Big improvement over the C5.The newer retro styled GT mustangs are fun to romp on the gas, but handling didn't impress me much.

Some may know I had a special excursion with a cadillac cts. They oversteer and countersteer nicely LOL...

Just some cars that stick out in my mind. We had a 240sx at the auction that was in need of repairs that I desperately wanted to buy. Every freaking day I'd dream of buying it, I would have but it disappeared one day hopefully not to a junkyard. I bought my own like a month later lol.

I'd love to drive an ae86, FC, Mr2 2nd gen, 510 or any classic version of cars that still exist today.Good thread man.

Well I've driven quite a few cars, but i must say my Evo is by far the most entertaining vehicle I have piloted. 05 mustang GT with intake, tune, exhuast, and gears was fun too. Handled really well.

I must say I miss the living on the edge feeling with the 240sx, and the SR had a lovely powerband!

I hear a lot of good things about EVOs. I like to get into one to check it out, but I can't imagine having a four door as my toy car.

Here's my complaints on the other vehicles I droveSupra TT- a blast to drive on an open highway, but drove like a tank in the city.350Z- wasn't impressed with the powerSwapped Hondas- felt like they were going to fall apart and fwd just wasn't doing it for me.Supercharged RSX- still felt underpoweredMustang GT- good torque, but it felt too big and the seating position wasn't comfortable.G35 coupe- major bore

The main factor was that after driving those cars, it made me so much happier to jump back into mine.

The corvettes were fun but i was too afraid to damage them. Except the c6. Good lord. It was fun if i was just sitting still. hahas13's just fit me so good. Im so confortable in it. I dont know its just perfect for me.

Me and my brother-in-law bothe drive 240s and he's thinking about selling his. I test drove a Colbalt SS the other day and aside from the turbo. The 240 was the better car . i don't think you can be the handling of an S chasis. I love my 240, no matter what other cars are superior. It drives like no other.

CLS 500 AMG package.... Makes you feel like a king, very fast on the highway.

Viper.... Not very comfy but as soon as you get on it you don't really give a s***.

97 Single Turbo Supra.... Also feel like a king, lots off attention, Only fun on the Highway.

Trucks Upon Trucks... They do their job.

Mazda MP5.... With blacked out windows it feels like a limo/party car.

Toyota MR-S... Very good handling with just some shocks and tires.

Tuborun.... May be Hyundai but i think it is a fun little car.

Evo X... EXTREMELY ROOMY, I liked it

Lots of hondas, Only one that stands out is the b16a Del Sol, Power to weight ratio is amazing and the car is very different looking.

I have honestly driven all of these cars MORE then my 240, But when i do drive my s13. There is nothing short of a smile on my face. It is bone stock. I think the thing that draws me to it the most is the cockpit. When i am done it will be the PERFECT car to me ^^ I don't care how fast or pretty it will be ( though it will be very pretty ). I just care about the cockpit.
