what's up guys, i needed recommendations for my g35 as far as cold air intakes go and exhausts. I know there's a lot of different attachments but i need to know what would increase my HP the greatest. I went through a bunch of websites to find the right one, even went to the nearest shop for parts but didn't really find anyone or anything too convincing, so i thought i might ask people who actually drive a G35 and take interest in it. Thanks a lot, i really appreciate it. BTW i don't want to trash my car with cheap crap so there really is no budget on the cold air intake and exhaust, thanks.

Sedan or Coupe?

If it's a Coupe... check out my mods in my sig. Those are the common ones. I had an 05 Coupe before my 07 so everything is the same.

As for where to purchasse... most people buy their mods from one of our site sponsors Joe at everythingg35.com. Great service and very competative pricing.

Click the big flashy SEARCH button before asking questions... I just don't want to see people give you a hard time (theres always one)

Now post some pics of your toy in the Members Rides area!!

Happy modding!!

How did the stillen catback y pipe exhausts and the 5/16 thermal spacer work out for you? Did it really increase your hp by 15-18? And I just want to make sure, you put all this on your g35 and would it work on an 05 g35?

Sean...my "moids" are in my sig too I know its a fat finger...but its a funny sound when you put the "i" in mods

You will notice a big difference in the way the engine sounds, and a noticeable increase in power. Check out some previous threads on these mods.

seems like that's a very popular combo for g35's, I guess its better then a cold air intake and exhausts huh? Sorry I'm very new to this.

Im thinking of getting the combo that seems to be very popular to everyone which includes the stillen cat-back, JWT pop charger w/ Z Tube, 5/16 Iso thermal plenum spacer, and the Mrev 2. I just want to make sure that all of these parts would work for a 05 G35 Auto Coupe. What's the difference between the Mrev 2 and 5/16 Plenum spacer, are they suppost to go with eachother? Thanks for all your help.

for a 2005+ the MREV2 and the 5/16 plenum spacer will be the best combo for your car. Everyone loves the Stillen cat-back exhaust as well, that is my next mod

The intake debate on which one is the best will go on forever... I went with JWT/Ztube combo... I promise you if you get all those mods... you will not regret it

how about replacing the y pipes w stillen catback dual exhaust? Just seems like a better, you get 6 additional hp for 300 bucks more, or is there a reason behind using the stillen catback exhausts w the y-pipe instead of the stillen catback dual exhaust? I was thinking I should get the popcharger/z tube first w the stillen catback dual exhausts then wait a month to save up for the 5/16 spacer and mrev2, or should I do it the other way around?
