Godspeed sucks. So does Isis, but they'll go lower.

Really, just wait a couple of more days/weeks/months/years and get something reputable. $500? You're half way there! you wont be happy if you don't get what you want, FACT.

i'm quite happy with my d2's. $850, so just save up $350 more. just get quality parts the first time, if you dont when the cheap stuff break, you end up spending more money than you would of just getting a good product.

you're going to get locked up.suggestion either KTS ULTRA LOW or PBM (powered by max). either you way, you'll fork out almost a grand anyway.

CUT YOUR SPRINGS, GO SUUUUUPER LOW!!

I'm kidding, please don't. Just tell your parents to give you the $500, save it + a little more cash, and search like a madman around eBay, craigslist and the classifieds for a deal.

I got my Tein HE's for $350. Happy hunting

ive heard so many good things about godspeed, there are multiple threads about guys vouching for them. and ive seen local guys sliding them at local events. go through this thread read the posts and the arguments people say.zer...age=1 dont take someones word for it just because they say there garbage when theyve had no experience with them and they thing just because it cost more its better. make your own decision. and look at obx people were talking s*** left and right about them being a ebay brand. and now there are some major retailers that carry there. such as weksos. and people saying megan and k sport are better there not do a side by side comparison and ride in cars with the 2 and youll get the same from godspeed. thats my .02

....what tie rods and where?

and as for the godspeed coilovers...im still undecided, if no one has any actually circumstances or incidents or facts of failures or issues i may try them still...its kinda like my tv i guess...i HAD to buy samsung and bout 2 years ago i spent $1300 on a 32" 1080i lcd......when my freind got a westinghouse 46" 1080p lcd for $1000....and his tv is fine actually...

i actually think im going to get some Rota P45R's anyway which are highly looked down apon and cheap...but the cars my daily right now, i dont plan on drag racing, i never need to drive anywhere special to where i cant be low and i like to slide every once in a while...now if the Godspeed coilovers and Rota wheels cant withstand that then there a HUGE problem and i will post....

but if i where to get those coilovers....what tie rods...etc. would be advised?

tie rods are the mechanical links from steering rack to front suspension knuckle. the s13 stock tie rods are wimpy. slamming the car causes them to bind, bend, or worst snap. that's why its a good idea to upgrade to z32 tie rods which are far more thicker and stronger. SPL sells a kit for this: http://splparts.com/main4/index.htm

also, the outer tie rods sets up your toe alignment.

Actually slamming the car will cause the tie rods to articulate in wierd angles causing tramlining, occasional scary a** braking, and crappy tire wear due to the toe out(?) caused during everyday suspension movements. As well as the weakness of the stock parts previously mentioned. I am currently running the Wicked Tuning tie rods and ends; and for my practical 3" drop (perfectly lowered for a dd in my opinion) have corrected 99% of the driving issues I encountered when lowering beyond 2".

All in all i think they are good coils i started to get some and slam my car. But then i remembered what happen to my last s13 i slammed. I dont want to replace my whole suspension again slamming a car ruins the suspension real bad. I can honestly say that my handling was better stock then it was slammed after i converted it back to stock. But my car was only slammed for three years.

But now im going with kyb agx with eiabach spring and rucas and s*** and s*** and s***.

i was in the same boat as you 4 months ago. and i was only 17. but i bit the bullet and forked out $1,400 for Stance GR+Pro's. and i don't regret at all! i say just save up and get what you really want. why waste time installing/removing and waste money when trying to sell those s***ty godspeed ones. i looked at those too before i bought the Stance ones. but its all up to you man.

lol i know what tie rods are haha thank you tho... but i was just asking what tie rods would be recommend in a 3" drop situation

also i know rota has a bad name...but why is that? ive heard of warping and breaking but havnt seen anything, i also havnt tried to research their wheels at all so that could be why.

heres what i am used to ...im so used to my Isuzu vehicles that i have never had the ability AT ALL to purchase anything performance upgradableEVER other than flywheel, underdrive pulley, and adapters....such as my T3 adapter for my RS manifold ...the suspension i have is a KYB strut (only strut they sell for our cars) and RTR coilovers (which is Robie The Robot a guy on our forums makes them) they are 450 front and 450 rear with up to 3.5" drop....never had to do anything with my tie rods for that

but with all that not one part for that car that was available costed near 1,000 so im just not used to forking that much out

so in the $800-$1000 range for just the coiloverswhat would be the best setup including tie rods and all....what all is required for SLAM ?

lmao im so used to not being able to get s*** for a car

pretty good.

I Think the Coil09 coupon code still might work. Check the Classifieds to make sure.

Those don't go as low as you're expecting. You're only low because you have 15's and LOL you still have wheel gap.

I picked up a set for 200 bucks just to go lower and get somewhat of an upgrade over stock suspension. I'm not defending godspeed or anything and I'll give you my straight up opinion...they are decent (definitely not as bad as ppl say they are) The construction looks pretty sturdy, the dampers feel a little weak and the adjustments don't really have much of a change in damping, but they go pretty low. The ride is pretty stiff and bouncy but for some reason I have 10K in the back and probably 12k in the front so idk how the 8/6kgmm feel. If you just daily your car and you just want to lower your car then these will work for you, but honestly, I wouldn't pay 5-600 for these coils when you can wait another month and get dmax, PSM, etc, etc.....unless you can get a crazy good deal.

but look at my sig, the rears are almost maxed out and the fronts can go another 2" lower.

i thank you guys for all the feedback...and im just gonna save up myself and get some Isis coils...i heard they are actually really good from a bunch of guys...im actually getting some kouki tails from my parents which is something i was gonna buy eventually anyway so instead of cash they can be satisfied by wrapping something for me lol....im also looking at the TEIN tie rods i think they are around $150-$200 on Enjuku.

i havnt looked at the "whats hanging from you hook" thread so im just hoping this hasnt been done yet lol if it has oh well...i actually have and wanted to do a Genesis controller but it is kinda HUGE and looked funny but well see.

I wouldn't get godspeed. They may look the same as any other coilovers but the shocks may be different and they probably don't ride as well as some of the other better namebrand companies.

I bought the megan track series coilovers and have no complaints and I still paid under 1000 for them.

I just bought CP pistons for my sr. I didn't wanna fork up the 600$ they cost, but after I recieved them I realized how amazing they really are and wouldn't trade them for any other pistons.. so same concept
