I'm getting ready to purchase a set of 36 way K-sport coilovers for my S14 and wanted to know if you guys had any recommendations for the spring rate that I should use. I don't want a stiff and bouncy ride. I want a smooth ride that is close to stock. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,Dan

Smooth and close to stock....on Coilovers? : /.

Id say 8kg/6kg with it set on the 36th level of dampening, I guess...

I have NEVER understood why people want a "smooth" ride comparable to stock. Coilovers arent that bad... I really have never been like, man I wish this was stock again.

Actually...I would suggest KYB AGXs with Sportline springs. Those came on my car and were alot softer than Coilovers.

If your not pushing it hard the AGX and Tein Luxury Master springs is the way to go. It is as close to a cushy ride as you can get.

I have the Sideways Master Drift Spec full Tein's installed at 10kg front and 8.5kg rear the Lux Springs are 3.3kg up front and 2.9 in the rear and I cant imagine how much softer they would be....
