I think the 10th anni cobras are the best looking rims for a 3rd gen but you might need some spacers 9'' is pretty wide for a 3rd gen. IDK what offset http://www.steeda.com/products...s.php

Since there's a few 3rd gen Max guys in this thread, what sizes (width and offset) are you guys running or have you seen guys running?

I think I saw Murano 5 spoke 18" wheels on a Max once and a set of Z33 6 spoke "Rays forged" wheels too.

I love those too!! But, the wifie doesn't like smoked rims I test drooled/drove a new black z06 with smoke rims several years ago (385HP). Again, wife hated it.

Rex: I know I've seen the Murano rims, as well as the G35 coupe rims, which IMO look bangin'.

I don't remember what offset I'm running maybe 40-45??, but my rims are 7 inch wide I believe, I think I could fit 8's but any wider and I would have to roll my fenders or add spacers depending.

SVTcobra: My uncle bought a '07 Mustang wrecked, fixed it, painted it yellow and bought smoked rims for it and my aunt hated them. So he sold it. haha go figure, must be a woman thing or something

These?

18x7.5 +35

They look nice on a Q as well .

Front 245/40Rear 245/45

===============Are 225/40/18's a good size for a Max?

YA those are teh ones!!

The look very nice on that Q.

I think they look alright on the Max, but I think the spokes are too wide, at least on the 3rd gen's.
