ok my recent problem...we bled the lines and everything...still was slow to come up..so we replaced the master cylinder...then when we put it back on..the pedal wouldnt do anything..if i went to push it in...the pedal would just drop to the floor and if i tried to pull it up...it would bounce right up instead of having pressure pushing it up..what is wrong?? i think that before i had car someone put gear oil instead of brake fluid so it clogged lines..any solutions or hints??

I did a search for the questions here about bleeding the clutch and have the links below. I read through it and seemed to have a good bit of information that might be able to help whoever needs it. It was a pain in the *** when I helped my fiance bleed the clutch and we went thru the clutch goes to the floor and doesn't come back up situation plenty of times. If you have 1-2 people working with you, you should be able to get it just right. I worked the clutch while he laid on the ground under the car openning the bleeder valve and you have to make sure you don't run out of fluid as well. I would have to refill it back up until we bled all air out of it and it works just fine now. (since we did this sometime last year)

Hope this information helps you out.
