Nice REDWINTERZ, looks like it just came out of the factory, whats your secret? new parts? or is it because your car has low clicks and your California weather preserves things better.

If I recall correctly I spent $130 for the powder coating on the plenum. That was with me doing all of the prep work (smoothing, removing castings and polishing). That was back in 2001, it has held up quite well with almost no upkeep required other than wiping it with quick detailer.

136K, so not low mileage...

Honestly, I just detail under the hood every time I wash the car. I bring out a handful of q-tips and some rags, and pick a new spot each time to clean. Eventually, I clean places that don't need it much but I do it anyway because I'm anal about her

Thanks everyone for the compliments

man there are some really nice engine bays.

I like Jerry's the most. (what are those hose in the front, the one by the radiator?)

And how tommy doesn't have the cover for the belts.

Does he [Jerry] have the overflow reservoir mounted on top of the radiator?

Haha I really appreciate it but are you sure you're looking at the right one? Mine is pretty average as far as cleanliness goes.

Oh, and I just noticed this: WOW. LMAO.

That's an oil catch can sitting above the electric fan. I have an aftermarket overflow tank for the radiator mounted under the nose panel.

Why would you put an SR in a Z? Are there any advantages (besides weight)?

Very classy

We just installed an overflow tank on my cousin's '66 Fastback and mounted it underneath in the space between the engine bay and the wheel well so it's out of sight. Looks clean...
