what do you guys clean your engine bay with? i have a engine cleaner but i hear you have to cover up some stuff

Don't have any recent ones since I started to delete, change things in the engine bay but here is how it did look.

Painted some things well I had them off when I did my 120k tune up.

I need to delete a few more things and get the polishing finished on my spare plenum and have it sent to powdercoat then I will post new pics.

Hahaha wow. I found that Armor All rim cleaner works amazing. It probably will eat paint if left for too long, so I spray it on, wipe/scrub immediately followed by a good rinse with a garden hose. That stuff will clean the dirtiest engine bays.

One needs to bag the Alternator and try not to soak electrical connections, I would use a jug with a spout.

heres mine... i got the hardpipes cheap with blue adapters and i needed them and am waitin to buy a set of black ones.... keeping an engine bay clean is hard but its defiantly worth it...



ignore temporarily relocated ptu...i had some wire issues where one would com disconnected and i havent fully repaired it yet

speaking of clean engine bays im about to clean mine with some greased lighting that i picked up. what should i use to cover the coil packs, distributer, started etc? and is it okay to use a normal water hose?
