Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing a Class 3 Trailer Hitch for my 2010 Nissan Rogue SL. In my owner's manual, it only mentions the Class 1 Trailer Hitch. The reason why I want a Class 3 Trailer Hitch is because I am interested in purchasing a stowaway2 swing out cargo box, which requires a Class 3 Trailer Hitch.

Hope someone can assist.

Thanks,
Ellen

You should be able to find one for your 2010 that will have the 2" receiver. Look for this under:

I am looking for one now for my new 2014 model.

Actually don't tow more than 1000lbs. http://www.edmunds.com/nissan/rogue/201 ... specs.html

Remember the '08 & '09 can tow 1500lbs ;)

i have an 08 with transmission cooler. it allows me to tow 1500. for those without a cooler, the extra 500lbs isnt THAT big of a deal as long as its flat road- and not far. once you are moving the moving weight isnt 1500lbs anymore.

Looks like he should be fine anyway, he said he needs it for a cargo box, http://www.stowaway2.com/carrier-hitch-cargo-box.aspx
and that only holds 200lbs
