they aren't that bad, 3 of my friends run them, and they say they like them. plus they aren't that expensive, and I'm kind of on a budget

ok, so my overheating problem was a bad thermostat. I replaced it and now its fine. But my dads mechanic came over yesterday to look at my brothers car, and I asked him to check out my car really quick. So I started it up for him, and he asked me if it was misfiring, because the engine shakes a little at idle. He checked to see how hot the exhaust was by touching each exhaust pipe coming from each cylinder. He told me that cylinder 2 wasn't as hot at the others. So I showed him how if I unplugged the fuel injector, the engine runs normal for about 5 seconds, and then starts to show signs of stalling. I pulled the spark plug, and he said it didn't smell like gas, only oil. Most likely, my next problem is in cylinder 2. Any suggestions?? I'm thinking its the fuel injector, or bad spark plug. I'm getting a compression tester, to see if I have bad compression too.

Yeah just by the video that you posted I was going to say it had a miss. Check your wires, plugs, or you may just have a bad cylinder...good luck. I bet you show low numbers on that cylinder...

yeah i know, I'm just in one of those moods where I don't know to be mad or to laugh. I guess laughing works. But heres the thing, like I mentioned, I'm on a budget, and I'm not sure rebuilding is in it.

If you dont want to do it get someone to take it apart... check number 2. Theres a reason its not workin. Get you a rebuild kit and be done with it.Shouldnt be too bad especially if you do it.

Hey, I forgot to mention. The other day my friend dropped these parts off at my house.Homie hookup fo sho!

All the adjustable suspension stuff is from Courtesy Nissan, and i guess the disc brakes are for a 240sx w/abs. I don't know how these will work for me since both my 240's are non abs, but I'll find a way. The hawk pads are ceramic too. all free.

Ok, so I've decided to rebuild the engine. And next year or sooner, you can expect it to be turboed also(if things go as planned).

if he said he smells oil on the plug, then tour problem is most likely your rings are shot. or theres a hole in the piston but i doubt it. what youll need to do is pull the head, and bottom end and hone the cylinders. get some new rings, put them on the pistons (use a manual to get the gaps right) and put it all back together. doing a leak down test on the head wouldnt hurt either.
