I flagged it, and I'm sure others did too. This is what the ad said, It also had three pictures of a red '97 Kouki with a SR motor; might have been someone on this forums car.

GARAGE KEPT 1999 Nissan 200SX (USA 240sx model) - $3862 (St Paul)________________________________________Reply to: [email protected] [?]Date: 2009-02-09, 3:19PM CST

Everything looked brand new; the bodywork, the engine, even the underwork (the metal underneath the car) looked brand new Here are some details about the Z-edition model: Again, only 200 were made of it. 100 in red and 100 in black. Besides the regular edition, there were 2 other editions manufactured in Germany (Sportsline and racing) but the Z-edtion is the most sought after of all of them. That makes the car pretty special and even more special the older it gets. The items that distinguish the Z-edition from a regular model are: * Came only in 2 colors: 100xblack and 100xred. * 225/40 ZR18 tires on 8Jx18" OZ Superturismo F1 rims (ET37) * Eibach sport springs lowering kit, lowered by 30mm * High-grade steel polished dual sports exhaust * High-grade steel door sills * aluminium-look gear knob * aluminium-look center console * "Z-edition" badge with exclusive number (x/200) on dashboard at passenger's side * 3-colored "Z-edition" sticker on the right rear of the car * high quality floor mat with "Sport Line" text on driver's side * high quality floor mat with aluminium plate on passenger's side * special chin spoiler, painted in body color * special rear underspoiler, painted in body color * Double DIN Radio Sony radio/cassette/cd-combination

Hahaha! Those are the same pictures and specs that were on the craigslist post. The Craigslist post was a scam, but maybe in Europe there was "Z" edition??? I like that rear bumper and rear lip though.

Hahahahaha

Did it look like this?

I just pulled that picture from a Cardomain. The description matched the above post almost word for word.

That happens to be a 200SX (European 240SX) And yes there is such a thing as the Z edition, it was a Europe only thing.

Its likely a scam unless the guy moved to MN, and brought the car with him. Which I doubt.

its either just some small shop doing light performance add ons and calling it a z edition. or the owner of that car got played. and its just some stickers. and the craigslist poster just thought it was rare and easy to sell

I would guess so. I dont know much about them, but I have read about it before.

The fact that it was only ever sold in Germany tells me its likely it was most likely a collaboration between Nissan, and some German tuning company. Although it may have been produced by Autech in Japan as they did many of the other special edition factory tuned Nissan's.

Im going to email the owner of the cardomain page and inform him his pictures and description are being used for a scam.
