Let's see that throttle cable hooked up now!
Nah... it's all love in here!

Well, actually I'm just bitter because my manifold is still installed and the car is still not done!!!

I think we are all just a bit leary of RB20 manifolds because there have been a lot of people burned by crappy ones in the past.

I hope Nom's works out for him.

I am making some rb25 manifolds and bought the velocity stacks from the guys who made your mani. They were JUNK! Paper thin, not finished worth a f**k. Just terrible. They looked like they took some cheap a$$ aluminum sink drains and cut them to look like velocity stacks. I doubt very highly the transition from the stacks to the factory runners is smooth at all. Going to cause you alot of drag and turbulance. I would cut the thing apart and rebuild it with quality stacks. The rest looks decent though.

You should also get a chip made for your mods and then use the Emange to fine tune it. Ask CarlH about doing one for you.

Hm, I would get a better turbo mani. My bf's SSAutoCrap one just fell apart on him today on the highway. He found his wastegate hanging by the vacuum line, and he's only pushing 265whp on his SR, and I see you want 400hp?

Ignore her, SSauto makes the finest manifolds on the market. Come on it's only $150 for the manifold how bad could it be?

That's the price you pay for being in this scene. This is not a cheap hobby we're in. If you can't afford a project car then get a R/C car and build it, then use your left over money on your gf or something. I bought a SSautocrap manifold to use temporarily, just to get my car from one place to another and the manifold cracked on me. Do yourself a favor and leave your car parked until you can afford to buy yourself another manifold.

You know... I've also heard of people running these manifolds for more than a year with no problems. With some additional bracing they can work out.. Not always... but they can work for a while.
