apparently for the fc, ssautochrome is selling motoria systems under their name. Full piping from the manifold to the muffler. Rumor has it that this is the exact same system that Corksport sells under the 'Power Series Turbo Back Exhaust Full System" for $600. Now ssautochrome is selling it at less than half the price. Make no mistake, corksport would not risk their reputation, and many people are happy w/both "versions" of the system. Whether ss is doing the same rebadge of the Motoria (a korean company) for other applications is unknown to me.

And back pressure...meh I say it's not needed at all. What you do need is exhaust velocity and good scavenging, something that piping diameter can have an influence on. If you think about it, why would you want pressure building against your exhaust valves only to be pushed back again? I think the term is wrongfully used, and what is really meant is a low-pressure zone behind the closed exhaust valve which theoretically aids the next wave of gases travel faster (high pressure to low pressure zone).

Things that can influence gas flow is sudden decrease in temperature, rapid expansion and turbulence (going from small exhaust ports to huge header to huge downpipe, etc). With a big pipe, gas will slow down and cool even more due to the added surface area. So now you are pushing slow, cold air.

Again, the proper piping diameter is determined by the flow rate (volume related to RPM and engine displacement), exhaust velocity (related to rpm), and exhuast temperature, as well as other factors.

BTW, I want your fc too...

Some guy on freshalloy dyno proved it.
