The heatshield needs to come off, yes. Was that bracket on the interior? I didn't remove it for mine. I used a 1/2" 3' extension and ovalized the firewall hole slightly by working it around, then taped the white connector back (facing opposite the blue connector) and was able to snake every thing in. Pushed the blue thru, then pulled from the inside.Chase300 wrote:what i researched when putting the new harness in was to wrap it up with duct tape and cover it with vaseline and jam it in the hole

Vulcan -> Im also running automatic for now.vulcanrush wrote:what's your setup, chase?
i'm trying for 450rwhp+, and that's with jwt550bb's, 2.5'' ic and ic pipings, 3'' exhausts, ferrea valves 1mm+, jwt500 cams.
i also have an auto transmission, and those tend to eat up more power.
are you shooting for 500 on regular gas?
20-psi on regular gas???? that's a recipe for knock.Chase300 wrote:Vulcan -> Im also running automatic for now.vulcanrush wrote:what's your setup, chase?
