let us know how the stock glass does in it. i'm interested in doing the same thing to keep my defroster. i'm interested to know how the window fits and if you are able to use origional gaskets.

Yea, the front bumper has gazilion chips, fenders getting chips also. I also wanted to shave my antenna and rear side markers off. THe color should be the same....350Z Daytona Blue

I think it'll be ok. Enjuku s13.5 also has the CF trunk using the stock glass. Unless, they've switched to LExan...i dont know

that's the only reason i haven't looked into getting a FRP or CF hatch, would hate to have lexan on it. i've had too many buggies with that crap for windshields and can't stand it.

anyways, good luck man. my stock hatch is flawless, no rust, no stock spoiler nothing so it's hard to wanna get rid of it you know? heh, i guess i'll wait to see how yours does with OE glass. oh, and interested on knowing how much weight you save over metal. gotta be a good bit.
