this guy own's this car.....93 Del Sol and mine is the one in the Cardomain link @ the bottom....i've seen this guy around my girlfriend's town before and since i've picked her up @ school a couple times people there kno my car...somewhere along the line someone said his car must be way faster than mine and i argued otherwise through my girlfriend, so now she hears "i'll take your car anywhere anytime cause it looks like s***" from this guy(or some girl he knows....she's not sure).....i do admit...it looks like s*** but i still think i can take him, should i even bother with a response? i mean after all.........it is a Honda:D

Is that seriously his car? If so then it looks like shat. Also, I am really confused, all i got is that you were challenged by a Honda Del Slo. If its stock, then yes. easily

that's definately his car....i've seen it in person....the entire interior is that ugly yellow....his mod list is intake and exhaust and "numerous other goodies".....lol

Seriously though, you could probably take him, but I don't promote street racing. You don't need to show him that you are faster if you know you are. And you probably are unless those "numerous other goodies" include a nitrous setup, turbocharger, or engine swap

i looked it up...the 93 del sol never had a vtec in it...so no...that's what i told all these people who thought that i was faster and they were like "o man no way...he's got to much $$ under the hood", lol

not to mention, 17" rims, neons, wing, stereo equipment, etc. Sounds heavy to me, and that doesnt exactly improve performance

I think it is sad that when I see a Honda without Z3 fenders I wonder where they went. I am serious it has got to be the dumbest and most overdone mod.

OH man what a ghetto pile of crap! The interior is just too funny, is it spray painted (poorly) yellow? Chiping off in someplaces?The green bikini top hanging from the rear view mirror is just classic...

with rwd you will smoke him off the line, and that non-vtec honda has no high-rpm pull, so youll be straight. race him for some money if hes so fricking confident.

actually you'd be surprised how well a honda can hook up off the line. and if its a del sol Si, then you've got a surprise comin. those things are decently quick.

but i dont know what mods are on what car.

i find it kinda funny that im still telling his girl that her boyfriend's car might have some troubles beating you..or how it just might be a clear win..but there totally convinced that your stock wont do s*** to his his "done up del sol" funny how he wont even mention what hes got under the hood..and neither will his girl...

whats surprising about the way they hook up? you think you'de spin tires with double digit peak torque?BTW the D16 in the Si del slo is a Vtec engine. just the single cam version wich isn't nearly as potent as the Bseries. i hope you whoop him.

Well my friend has them on his black 99 Eclipse convertable. It isnt that bad looking IMO. He only put them on there because he dented one of his stock fenders by hitting a mail box while learning to drive 5 speed.

Haha, I was thinking along the same lines... how does learning to drive stick affect you enough to hit a mailbox? Shouldn't that involve steering and not throttle control? Or was he trying to learn how to drive stick by drifting? :pface
