I would love to try to produce my own but don't have my car with me at the moment so that might have to wait however, here is a sneak peek perhaps. This is what I would do to the SPDV6 kit if I got it, in blue of course.

So since I got this idea that wide-body was for me I've been reading and studying everything I can and it seems that the flowing design of the SPDV6 fenders and the Z1 fenders are both based not so loosely on the Strosek widebody. Additionally the Z1 kit utilizes the rear bumper design as well. The SPDV6 kit has a custom rear with "Strosek" sides & fenders and an unaltered GTZ-R2 front. I have decided that I will be going with the GTZ-R2 front end (which I will modify as my previous post shows) and for the wide-body I'll be going with the Z1 and modifying the side-skirts (removing the vents) as well as the rear (removing the lower bar and molding a diffuser), thereby leaving the hardest part (making matching fenders and rear bumper cover) to the pros and making alterations to an already well made base. Though this will not happen for a few years I will be working on the final design of the rear & front alterations. Thank you all for your input on the thread and please by all means keep the suggestions coming, who knows I might have a change of heart.

This may or may not be "awesome aero" but this is one of my favorites (and my background on my computer). It's just so clean and simple. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a129/ ... wheels.jpg

It is a nice looking Z but doesn't really fit what I was going fro with this thread. Either way, hopefully once I'm done with mine it will be gracing some peoples desktops.

I do like the Impul a lot but don't feel that it will fit the look with a widebody. I'll photochop it sometime to see. There isn't much available in Australia, you still have to go elsewhere (Japan, UK, etc.) its just a lot easier to get the stuff because there are a lot more connections with those markets but the parts are still not readily available here.

Sounds like a solid idea. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, the GTZ-R2 was one of the gaudiest bumpers available imo, but the bit of photochopping you did definitely cleans up the look of it a lot.

Does the Impul front have some kind of cover over the signals and fogs or are they just tinted with a line pained through the housings?

Maybe some border fenders up front perhaps some patching to smooth the vents or maybe not. I'm getting all excited, gotta start purchasing this stuff and shipping it home.

As for the Impul as you can see its a cover. Image

I will agree those are both great looking bumpers and if i didn't have the widebody bug all of a sudden bite me I would be looking at one of them but they just don't have that flare that a widebody should have, in my eyes. I wanna go outrageous!

Yet again... Call vig if you want something that out of the box. Just tell him you are giving him a donor car for the next 3 years until he figures out what to do with it

That's uncalled for, no need to be a sarcastic a** (sarcasm doesn't travel well through cyberspace, it gets all 1001001010010110100101). As for my particular taste I guarantee you that the majority of this forum will find my mods tasteful if perhaps somewhat outrageous. I grew up in this game through the F&F era, I've had my ridiculously RICED EK Hatch, what I have done since and what I plan on doing will no way be anywhere near rice especially considering what's under the hood :bigthumb:

Must be on another person's private page, cause I can't access it. Host it to photobucket and link that photo.
