check this out if you don't want to attract any extra attention. got it motorized using an old pulsar headlight motor and relay. with power to the relay coil going to the cruise control switch. i haven't put anything in there yet, probably just put in a couple leds for indicators a fan controller, and turbotimer.

OMG that is sooooo sweet! Seriously you can smuggle your drugs in there too haha. Make sure you leave a hole in there for less than legal items...

yeah..it's bolted in there there's a few brackets that need to be removed.once you've done that it just falls out,and a hinge that needs to be made(probably the trickiest part)the airbag is long gone(anyone need one:D )

i took out the whole airbag system, then the dash, then the airbag warning light.you have to remove the dash to get all the hardware off and remove the airbag and brackets, and weld the bracket to the horizontal structural member. it's pretty intense.also the metal thats on the bottom of the airbag lid is like NASA supermetal or something. i tried 3 different epoxies and none of those stuck, you can't even weld to it. i ended up drilling it and using rivets to attach the hardware for the hinge and motor arm. now that i know how to do it it would still take a good 10 hours to do.
