Ok so as some of u know i was supposed to race a celica. The kid thought it was a 12 sec car and it was def not unless my alty got alot faster by magic. I ended up doin a 40mph roll up to 110 and i got him by 1-2 car lengths depending on the races. I have a compilation of videos that ill have up in a lil prob tomm bc i dont have a program to do it. But thanks adidas 4 the specs lol u were right he wasnt that good of a driver which helped me definatly.

ye im not gonna lie whn u set up a race its alot more fun bc u go at it like 10-15 times lol. I gotta admit though pa people cant drive for anything. I mean wen we were on are way back to school we hit traffic and he couldnt stay with me at all LITRALLY.....n i love the adrenaline rush it gives you it is def 2nd to sex lol n egttin dome while racing is just a bad idea for me lol i change lanes to much....i love my car lol

Try it at a track on the 1/4 mi and a good driver in that Celi will beat you.

They are light and move off the line very quickly, but aren't designed for good top end. The GT-S is a totally different situation.

My point exactly, just because most of us don't drive aggressive doesn't mean we don't know how to drive. However if you go into the cities such as Pittsburgh and Philly its a different story, there are a lot of aggressive drivers. Not even everywhere in NY are there aggressive drivers, but I do agree the NYC area and a lot of NJ do have a lot of good drivers. I know, I'm there a lot, in fact I'll be there tomorrow.

seriously, in NO way, shape, form or fashion can the 2.5 Alti beat A G35 or some of the other cars you mentioned in your last thread. What you are describing is the same thing octopussi describes... just because you put the petal to the metal and fly by someone does NOT mean you won a race against them... it just means they slowed down in traffic before someone got killed... even octopussi will tell you that he has totaled some of his previous cars street racing...

sure you can get away with it every now and then, but in the end, you are gonna seriously hurt yourself or someone else....

the difference between NICO and say nissanclub, or some of these other forums is that there are more adults here. Therefore, what some folks at other forums find impressive (no matter the stretch of the truth), many folks here do not... why post something in a forum where the average reader

No matter what your personal feeling about street racing is, in reality, its dangerous and everyone pays for it (you via insurance, someone else with the loss of their car , serious injury, or loss of life)

I know you think we are all old farts that don't know how to have fun... and that's fine, but the truth of the matter is, there are better and safer ways to have fun, and with time, experience, and maturity, you will move away from these types of activities and see them for what they are...

so for the last time, be safe, slow down, stop street racing, and stop posting threads about street races... sooner or later, you will lose (and I'm not talking about the race!)

I 100% agree with DOC....what he speaks is 100% true.

I used to be like that when I was in H/S....now I look back and think....damn, that was foolish of me to do, what the hell was I thinking.

It's sad to hear that within the last month or so here in Michigan, there have been a couple accidents that involved H/S teens drag racing, and there have been deaths involved. It's seriously not worth doing on the streets, take it to the race tracks and go all out there.
