Your disrespect to me, as a supporter of automotive enthusiasts, came LONG before you started telling tall tales about your "mad skillz".
You disrespect me and everyone else here by acting like a ricer assclown on the public streets.
Let me ask you, how much professional driving experience do you have? How much track time? Have you ever driven a car ON a track? Any specialized courses? Training? No?
OK, then tell me what you're gonna do when someone in the path of your "uber-fast" rental car pulls out in front of you?
I'll tell you what you're going to do.
First, you'll wet your pants. Then you'll scream, like a girl. Then, right before you hit the other car, you MIGHT make some halfhearted attempt to avoid the accident, but since you really don't know what to do, and you drive about as well as you spell, your efforts will be meaningless.
You'll hit an innocent person, ruin their day, maybe hurt or kill them, you'll go to jail, or the hospital, and for what?
So you could brag to a bunch of people who don't believe you that you outran a G35?
You said "I hate when people don't know cars and their times". Well, I hate when people who just got their license drive stupid on the same roads I take my kids to school on. I hate when some chump acts all bad in a car that he's never even changed the oil on. I hate when people in a 16.2-second car THINK they're "fast".
Listen, I spend a lot of time defending automotive enthusiasts as a whole from people who think we're all idiots and punks.
So, yes, you disrespect me. Quit telling stories. Go sign up for some HPDE or autocross if you have the balls. But we're really not interested in your ricer fly-by stories, nor your "Too Fast Too Furious" fantasies about owning a "fast" car. Street racing is gay.
I'm not here to be "nice". I'm here to help share some knowledge and help car freaks get some respect. You're not helping matters.
p.s. Twisties or not, that 2.5 Alty ain't fast. At all. But if you're interested in LEARNING more than TALKING, we CAN help you make it fast. And you'll be a better driver. And chicks will dig it.
