if I was that concerned about performance, I never would have bought a new 240sx, whose 1/4 mile times were measured with a calendar.

Mine does the quarter in about Febuary

I kind of stay away from wanting a car back because:

But I would really rather them stay retired than having them come back being a bulky hybrid and ugly as f***.

but I've always thought it would be cool if they "re-manufactured" a car. Kind of like a limited edition run or something.

Imagine a "2013" 240sx. It would be an (s13 or 14 or whatever), same old chassis, same old body, some minor interior updates, and an engine update. I think that would be cool as hell.
