Seems like I lowered the car the wrong way, so I fixed it. Now the car's lower than before, used to be 2in, now its 3.5in. THe suspension wasnt as stiff as before after I fixed it but its just rediculous to drive around this low. I scrape on VERY small dips.

HEre's some pics:

Here's my phone standing right beside it.

it was the same setup as before but after I fixed it, it got lower. I'll be raising it back up next week when I fix the rears.

I want to go to one of the Drift Day events. Thats after I get my suspension and LSD done. ALso, another bucket seat so that the instructor can seat with me while I drive straight to the wall

i love the look of the car man. i'm wondering how you did the fenders? looks like custom work, but was there an easy way to it, like welding on render lips off a different car?

Thanks man!

THe flares are molded. The other option is to rivet them on.

Damn man....

You car remains the best looking ride on NICO, without contest, far as I'm concerned...

Makes me want an S13 hatch.

Where do you even GET those longchamps? I'd never seen them any bigger than like 15" until I saw your car.

As for the wheels, they're not longchamps, they're Work Equip 01's

All you have to do to see the "average" for all 240 owners is look in members rides.

I am proud to have a 5-color sileighty and ride down low with the chumps.

I never get why people drop their street cars so low. I mean, really. Makes your car handle worse and bangs up your pretty paint. Such a shame to do all that just to make it look "better".

I wouldn't say lowering makes a car handle worse. if you have the mods to back it up (read fully adjustable suspension) for which you can correct your geometry, than a lower center of gravity is always a plus. Although on the street I would agree...for solo I, then I'd say go lower!

ON A RACE CAR ON A RACE TRACK. I wish I lived in a county/state/country that actually cared about proper infastructure and upkeep, but since I live in Hick Ville, the roads are not glass smooth. Bottoming out your suspension, mid corner on a public street is not my idea of a fun drive home from work. It is my idea of understeer at least, and a wreck at worse. Yes, a lower center of gravity is always great, but to a point. Race cars looked slammed, but actually have lots of suspension travel under their bodywork. Do you know so little of suspension tuning that your only comment is "go lower"?

I really never meant to lower the car that low. I was adjusting my coilovers and came out lower than usual. The car before was only lowered 2in, now its 3in.

LIke I said in my first post, the car will be raised back up next weekend. I dont have time rightnow since I have work the whole day literally for the whole week.

Also that's not even done, I just did the front coilovers. It does look nice that low, but its so rediculous to drive it around.

The front is not flush.

THe guy who did the body work, worked on it with a stock suspension. WHen the car's raised up, its flush, but when its low, it isn't.

I'll be flush since I might be getting a big brake kit, I need some spacers to not hit the spokes.
