damn i bet you got one riced out 240 with buying all that "cool" stuff for your car. Or if you can relate your car's feelings to human feelings, it's prolly gay! :D

all of that money spent on that crap, like the POLKA sticker is just plain stupid. spending 80 bucks on hyper bulbs does nothing, a shift knob doesnt make the shift throw shorter, a steering wheel doesnt make handling better, a 100 dollar intake when you can make one that's just as functional for free...

Hey ever wonder why you turn heads in that car? Probably because people are in a guffaw looking at such a "sweet" car...my ***, yeah right. Damn dewd while your at it...perhaps you should spray paint your hood flat black, it will magically change into carbon fiber if you do, then your car will like you more and not break down :rolleyes

here's a problem with replacing stuff that occured to me last night. Where can I put all of the old stuff! I have air filter box, complete exhaust system still attached to each other, wheels, lights, pulleys, rotors, brake lines....There's a pile of it in the corner of the garage that's slowly spredding to take over the rest.

**** i never realized so many closed minded faggots could gather in one spot on the internet

so what if a ****ign shift knob doesn't shorten the throw!big ****ign dealit wasn't meant to short the throwshort shifters are for thatwhy would you spend 150 on a short shifter if you could cut the shifter and put on another knob for free huh?? HUH??

it says polska not polkait means polandthe sticker was freemuch like your crazy high performance intake there

why dont you go buy a ****ing mustang or somethign? you dont deserve to drive a 240

I dont think there's anything wrong making your car look good.

I think the problem is when some PPL put ridiciously low kits on, or HUGE wire wheels and stuff like that. After maket shift knobs can be nice too.

Even in Germany, which is often perceived as the Mecca of proper car culture, body kits are part of every major tuner firms repertoire.

Why is everyone telling people how to spend their money on their car??? If it's riced, big deal if not, who cares. Whats wrong with dressing it up a bit... so you'd rather spend 100 bucks on something else, it's you... I think it would be quite borring if everyone does the exact same thing, it would make the 240 a really boring car, so it's fast, big deal. I mean I like it fast, but it's nice to have different things done to the car, that's all.

Not to be an *** but those fake blue headlights you bought don't actually help you see any better at night, also, they blind other drivers. : ) But oh well, I'm sure they look cool. : )

I dont see nothing wrong with hooking your car up, body kits, rims, etc. etc. as long as its tasteful, I mean when we see them 240s in magazines we notice it gets posted here, "did u see such and such in that mag", Now like haveing a ProKit, Sportsline, Sprint Springs, Arospeed stickers all on the same car is ricey, and a Holley Carburator sticker is ricey 2, but body kits, shift knobs(i hate the factory big bulky heavy *** POS shift knob) only make the car look nice(if done right) But if thats not you dont flame him, saying **** like you ****in ****, *** b****, terd tapping mutha****a, c*** in your *** f*****, what the **** are you thinking a 240 is meant to look like every other 240 on the road, NO personializing <-- Thats alittle childish, Its his car let him do w/ what he wants with it.

Wait till FREAK sets his mouse on this thread. (oh I shudder to think of the carnage :ak47 :blue:aug2

hey SpecialK take it easy man, 240 owners (the regulars here) typically get picky about the car. It's all meant for good, not evil. Everyone is entitled to their opinion; if you hadn't said anything, there would not have been any replies made.

I too used consider the show vs go situation. That is until I drove a car with absolutely no show and all go. The thing looked like a bucket, but it spanked @ss everywhere. Then I started to consider, whould spending $150 on some tailights actually do anything or should I upgrade my rotors and brake pads. I chose the brakes.

An what aboout a new shift knob vs a shorter throw (shorted angle of movement, not shorter in length). I chose the shorter throw and kept my stock knob.

There are a multitue of things you can do to your car to improve it's looks and still have the same damn slow @ss, wobbly, can't turn for s*** car.

But if your goal is to enter carshows, then by all means build a carpet queen, if not get a better performing car.

Ultimately, its your ride and only what you think is appropriate for your car matters. 'Cause it's you who will be seen in the pimped out , or riced out ride.

Peas out.....................

I don't know about that, Daunt. I mean, they sell blue light bulbs on eBay.

Actually, they do sell a lot of crap on eBay, and I do mean CRAP. You just have to be careful what and who you buy from...I always buy stuff from there, but I'm startin to be careful cause some stuff isn't what it seems to be and some stuff isn't exactly a whole lot cheaper than retail...

only problem is when ppl spend all their money on making their car look fast but it cant back it up.. get a new engen and so on and then put a body kit on it.. so u look fast along with GOING fast.. but spending all your money on looks (IMO) is kinda dumb... but hell if u want a show car.. go for it.. whatever floats your boad (duct tape as my friend would say)

General rule to follow:

1. If you stick out like a sore friggin thumb then there's something wrong

Yes people should be allowed to do whatever they want with their cars. But i tend to hang out with the more subtle/sleeper/tastefully done crowd.

besides...you make a car more appealing to thieves/vandals....who wants that?

But seriously though, you guys, think about it. Is it really worth it to spend so much money making your car super fast then getting a speeding ticket every month?!? I don't know about you, but I can't afford to get a bunch of speeding tickets...and there's nothing wrong with being a show car, if it looks clean.

personally i wouldn't make my car look like that....but that is me...there may be people that don't like to Drift...cuz that's not what they like...whatever ima do what i do, you do what you do!

i just thik some ppl here need to chill a little bit and stop doggin guys cuz they would't buy a shift knob, or ANYTHING that is not performance related. i mean i don't like riced out cars either but that is my opinion and i don't feel the need to tell somebody their style is whack....if you feel the need to save someone from rice and want to convert them to YOUR IDEAS then don't be **** about it!HEY LOOK i've got clear front turn signals!!!! inside i've got RAZO PEDALS and a SHIFT KNOB......I have a AEROSPEED MUFFLER....yes that's right...i paid $100 for it.....with custom 2.5 inch piping....i plan on buying an AERO KIT........i also plan on buying another s-13 and an SR20DET.....I MUST BE A RICER???? does anyone think im a ricer???

look i'm just saying i get a little tired of seeing everyone dog on these guys that have their "style".

HAHAHA. This is why he was jumped on, because he is a TYPICAL ricer, not a knowledgable (sp?) one. Does that really shorten your throw?? Cause I could have sworn that just makes your shifter shorter. At least have the basic concept of something that you're saying.

A Razo knob is different than "shift knobs". You bought quality, he bought it in the Pep Boys "performance" aisle.

You talked about how everyone looks at your car....Just so you know my friends and I stare at riced out cars all the time, however its not in awe, its to laugh and make jokes. So don't think that everyone is breaking their neck to see your dope ride.

Yup. There is no "right" way to make a car ricey.
