APEXi240 wrote:HAHAHA. This is why he was jumped on, because he is a TYPICAL ricer, not a knowledgable (sp?) one. Does that really shorten your throw?? Cause I could have sworn that just makes your shifter shorter. At least have the basic concept of something that you're saying.

A Razo knob is different than "shift knobs". You bought quality, he bought it in the Pep Boys "performance" aisle.

You talked about how everyone looks at your car....Just so you know my friends and I stare at riced out cars all the time, however its not in awe, its to laugh and make jokes. So don't think that everyone is breaking their neck to see your dope ride.

Yup. There is no "right" way to make a car ricey.

i jumped on that sarcasticallyi know that short shifter is better then a chopped shift knobbut one of those guys who was complainging my car was riced out was also telling me i was wasting my money having bought a real intake instead of just chopping the boxand he's all proud of his short shifter

and my car is not all show no goive done pretty mcuh everything within reasonable price to itonly reason i even have that wing on there is because my buddy's dad hooked it up for like $150cdn

there is a right way to make a car riceynot chopping springs for onenothing else comign to mind right now but theres plenty more

and as stated in another thread, girls like riced out cars.im ****ing 18 man what good is a sleeper gonna do me? i dont race or do autocross i dont drift or anything...i roll around and pick up tire biters

blue bulbs imo are way brightermy theory is blue is closer to daylight then white light iswhatever is correct, i see way better with the new bulbs

...and i'msorry for starting a flame war

Alright, fine. Rice-out your car. I don't care at all. Just don't think you are all cool, almighty, or FAST because you have a body kit, bigass spoiler, 19"s, or blue headlights and led's in the windshield wiper fluid dispensers. Do what you want, we'll do what we want. And no, there is no way to "properly" rice a car, since rice-ing doesn't actually help anything performance wise, but that's just my opinion.

Actually, my gf said she would rather have me spend money to improve my car's look (JDM, baby, yeah!) than spend it on making my car the freakin fastest one in the world!

Then again, she would rather I leave my car bone stock, so....I guess it depends on the girl, dragoness.....!

C'mon....do you honestly think street racing will hold its appeal to performance wise 10-15 years from now? By then, most of us will want to trade our cars in for Caravans and Matrixes ( or MATRICES, to be more correct). I didn't even say I was gonna rice out my car...what if I converted my whole car to JDM? Would that be "rice"? Is that not a proper way to improve my car's look? You tell me.

Girls that I'd rather not have as girlfriends like riced out cars. I'd never want a girl that liked me for my car....thats just asking for trouble.

I have no problem with JDM bodywork, I plan on doing a Silvia conversion myself. What I DO have a problem with is 5ft high spoilers, ultra wing boom bodykits, and rims too big for the car. I believe power should be the first priority, but, as I said, that's just my opinion.

I say JDM bodywork... but that takes money. Look at your budget Tino, then decide.

Dauntt appears to offer the conversion for $1g, plus installation or shipping. (I'm assuming S13 240- S13 Silvia)

Just leave the poor guy alone. He can do whatever he wants to his car. It's HIS car and HIS money. Obviously everyone has their own opinion on everything. No one is right and no one is wrong. If I do something to my car, some people will like it and some won't. I definetly will get people checkin out my ride in awe and some might look and laugh. who cares... As long as what I do to MY car that I LIKE... about girls.... Girls will like you no matter what car you drive. They might not sit in the car if it's ugly =) but they won't care too much about it. same goes for girls...all of them are different!
