Has anyone tried the billet grille from Carriageworks? It follows the contour of the front which really help overcome the chrome mustache:

http://www.carriageworksinc.com/1511.html

It is only available in 6061-T6 “Aircraft Grade” billet aluminum. I would prefer chrome, but this grille is the closest to my ideal shape. They claim to be around for 25 years, so I am surprised that there have been no posts about this company.

Any advice? I am serious about this product. Please advise.

Thanks for the shout! Just picked up the car last week and love it. The grille...not so much. I want a grille that really fits the car, but still pretty understated. The chrome Classic Billet from Precision (full replacement) might also be nice, but have yet to see a good image of it. I have been through most of the posts here and Googled for days. I want a Billet that keeps the Nissan emblem. The one from Carriageworks comes the closest.

I saw that one from SES. I did not like the way its just cut off at the bottom to fit. It does not have a real "finished" feel to it. The Carraigeworks grille is an insert, but looks really good. I also received an email from Precision about their billet replacement grille. The picture looks really nice, but no emblem. He said I could stick it on with some 3M tape ??

I think both the grille and the bumper grille has the "Bling". I would do the bumper in the polished and the bumper in black. It looks great. How do you post images?

You need to upload the pics first to an online hosting server like photobucket or imageshack. Then copy and paste the image tag to the thread. The image tag will start of with an [img]

Cool. Everyone who hasn't bought the Stillen front fascia has been looking for a nice grille, me included. Post up some pics when you get it installed!

This thing might look nice if it was all black, perhaps? Maybe then it won't look to blingy. I would still prefer a nice mesh though

They don't have the black posted on their site. you might be able to email them and ask for it.

On the page on autoanything.com, what is the difference between to bolt over griller, and the bumper grille, which one just clips on over the bumper and is on the main grille and bottom grille????????

Thank You

If that grill comes in black, I'll take it. I love the contours, but too much Chrome.

Kinda reminds me of the G35 but their chrome grill has different line densities.

All the contours on this one are all the same.

I think it does come in black if you look at the link above, there is a part number for a black one. Can someone photoshop it with the black?

Am I the only one that doesn't see the prices? Also what would be the diff. between the brushed and aluminum.

Carriageworks is the manufacturer and they do not sell direct just like SES, Precision, E&G, etc. If you google, you can find several distributors. I purchased from autoanything.com. Decent price and they had them in stock.

Polished is a high chrome-like finish. Brushed is a brushed metal finish.

Cool, so you got the polished finish? I wonder if you can mix and match the bottom and top pieces.

They are sold separately, so you can mix and match (like I did) or just by one piece.

Bolt Over shows Nissan logo is the upper grille. Bumper grill is the lower grille.
